Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 18th.

[The first sets of blows see her make the same mistakes as before, dropping her guard after the first. She corrects herself, then, regathers her focus enough that she can parry the first two, though she's still not quick enough to block the third.

But at each pause, she takes longer to recover and in time it begins to show in her movements: slower, less accurate and yet she didn't yet speak out]

[The good thing about limiting his movements to about an eighth of what he's truly capable of is that Genesis is able to pay attention to the way Anri's body reacted to his movements. And once he notices the way her movements had slowed considerably, he draws back.]

I think this enough for today. Are you alright?

[She nods, even as she's trying very hard not to just drop the weapon and collapse where she stands]

I'll be okay. I just need to get used to this.

[And maybe some shade and some water]

It seems like you definitely need rest. Go sit by the tree there. I'll get us refreshments.

[He reaches out to her to take the training sword from her.]

It's no trouble. I can get it myself if you need to stay here.

[She does hand over the sword, though she makes no move yet to leave until she knows for sure which way she's heading]

No, it's alright. [He gestures to where Cloud is.]

He's also in charge of training in this area. So I can leave when I want to. But if you really want to get a drink yourself, you can come walk with me.

[He puts away the training swords.]

All right.

[She can do that much, at least. And so, as he moves to put the swords away, she begins to move in the necessary direction, slowly enough that it's clear she's still waiting for him]

[And he will follow Anri and walk with her to get refreshments.]
