Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 18th.

As for Judai's statement, Shinji gives a noncommittal hum in response. That philosophy, he feels, is far easier said than done in a lot of cases. Saying as much would probably invite unwanted questions, though, so he isn't about to bring it up.]

[Judai nods sagely in response.]

I can get that. I'm just trying to fill the silence though, I guess. [Shrug!] Y'know, if you do wanna train at some point, though, I still wouldn't mind helping you out there!

Maybe at some point. [He has a suspicion that Judai probably wouldn't let him get away without accepting that offer.]

[Reaching out, Judai pats Shinji's shoulder in what he hopes is a reassuring way, but is much more like how a buddy pats another buddy's shoulder.]

Great! [He stands up and brushes himself off a little.] Just, y'know, come find me when you're ready! [He gives Shinji a thumbs up and turns to leave.] See ya around, Shinji!

[While he appears to be a little... uncomfortable at the contact, Shinji can't help but notice that - wow, is he actually being let out of this conversation...? He wasn't actually expecting that, somehow.]

I'll... do that. [A lot of the skepticism is gone from his tone, he sounds a lot more like he is really considering the offer at this point.] See you.
