Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 18th.

But it's nice to meet you. I'm Steve Rogers, I work as a deputy for Outer Residential Quarter 1. [small pause] Well, now at least. Worked in the financial district before Neji reworked the roster.

It made for a thrilling introduction. [But very far from a good impression]

I see. Valentine. I patrol Outer Residential Quarter II.

I'll give it that, one of a kind initiation process. People always band together when tough times arise at least. [Well, to some extent.]

Specialize in medical work then? [Judging by her outfit at least.]

That they do. It's always fascinating really.

[... Oh, right. Uniform] In a way. I perform special operations.

Such as surgery? [Steve seems impressed, especially since field doctors are extremely important in the war and stuff.]

Yes. Surgery would be one.

Have other specialties as well? It's good to hear that you're going to be out in the field.

[niptuck]

Yes, but we're trying to avoid injuries, are we not?

[itsfondue]

[He blinks, nodding at the question.] Yes, that's the idea. Preventing injuries in the first place would be the best outcome.

[niptuck]

I'm the last person you want to come to for real medical help. Yes, I know my way around the blade, but I'm much more interested in what makes a person tick. I've had enough humans though so you may be a little more fortunate. I advise furthering your understanding of pressure points and utilizing them when apprehending rouges. Hm...

[She looks him up and down] How agile would you consider yourself?

[itsfondue]

[Steve feels a little embarrassed, he completely mistook her specialty. Sounds like she's more of a blade user now, with understanding of the anatomy of a human.]

I think I'm decently agile, had some experience with dodging and moving around in a war.

[niptuck]

[He wouldn't be the first.]

Then you should be able to manage some. Your agility and dexterity will need improvement for the rest.

[itsfondue]

[Steve nods a little, he probably knows a bit about pressure points and stuff.] I intend to keep improving on my abilities. Once I stop practicing, I stop getting better. And I don't plan on having that occurring.

[niptuck]

Such dedication. And I thought only the soldiers back home were that determined.

[itsfondue]

Think a lot of soldiers are really determined, Miss Valentine. Doesn't matter which country they're from, as long as they have somethin' to protect.

[niptuck]

They're loyal to the crown back home, but still, one ends up wondering if that's all they're loyal to. The mafia controlled a majority you see and kidnappings were frequent. My oh my if the police and soldiers were little more than statues.

[itsfondue]

Hopefully some of them would be more than just loyal, they'd try do the right thing instead. That is more important than being loyal to the government.

[niptuck]

No, not really for them.

[itsfondue]

[Steve does frown a little at that.] That's unfortunate to hear. Soldiers still have a duty to the citizens and not abusing their power.

[niptuck]

Oh, it's not abuse. It's incompetence. The Mafia and the Princess's guard dogs are two separate entities.

[itsfondue]

Ordinary people are left to defend themselves then?

[niptuck]
