Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 18th.

Well, yeah I do. I seem to recall Naginata's being used a lot during the old samurai days.

That spear you're holding similar to it, but it won't quite do the same thing.

Do you think we can alter the blade on it so it has more of a battle hook?

Altering the blade... I hadn't thought of that! [She picks the spear back up, testing the weight in her hands and making a slashing motion.] Do you think that'll be difficult?

For the most part? No. We just need the right type of blade and I've got plenty.

[And he just shows here all of these different types of blades he has. Sob.]

Pick one you think'll work with that kind of spear base. I'll just remove the handle afterwards.

[WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SCREAMS.] That's a lot of blades you have there...

We kind of need them, don't we?

Blades are easy to conceal. It's not hard for me to carry around a bunch of them at the same time without anyone knowing that I have them in the first place.

Better start looking for something we can use to make a Naginata.

[evokes]

Well, it depends on what kind of place you're at I'd say. [Raiden how dangerous was your life to need A MILLION FUCKING KNIVES!!]

I guess it wouldn't be too hard for you considering you're, [gesturing at how he's a ROBOT!!!] well, you.

Are you sure I can use one of these though? I could probably look somewhere else to get a blade.

Probably. Here? I don't think it matters too much. [GURL HIS LIFE IS DANGEROUS MAN. HE PROBABLY THINKS HE DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH.]

It's fine. It'd just take more time to find blades from another place. It'll save you trouble.

Yeah. Say, since you're a cyborg, do they have androids where you're from? [Her world can't be the only place to have bizarre humanoid robots right.]

If you say so. Thanks Raiden, I really appreciate it. [SMILING and picking out a blade that's probably curved and looks like it's used more for flashing than stabbing... basically something that would fit for a naginata LMAO]

Androids? What do you mean? Like a self operating mech of some sort? [Hopefully not, but he'll need some clarification on that. ARE WE TALKING ABOUT METAL GEARS?]

Hey, are you sure about this whole fighting thing? I've asked you before, but fighting's tough. It'll never be too late to pull out in case you want to.

[evokes]

Sort of, but like... A robot that looks human, but they're completely made out of metal and stuff. Cyborgs are part human, right? So what I mean by an android is that there isn't anything human in them at all. [Unless we're operating on a different definition of cyborg oops... And while it's not completely fair to Aigis given how she had been developing emotions lately, it was still true that she was completely made out of metal.]

It's alright, really! I'm used to this kind of thing honestly.

As far as technology goes, in my world we have androids who were made just for battle. We call them Unmanned Gear's. They don't really do much else but fight. They aren't human though. [It's true. She's just metal and shit. Cries.]

How much fighting experience are we talking about here?

[evokes]

[nodding along as he talks] I see... Do they even look humanoid at all?

Well, a lot. You could say that I'm used to chasing after monsters.

Not all of them do. They're just combat AI's so to them looks don't really matter.

Chasing after monsters? Huh. Sounds like an interesting hobby you've got there.

Watching your stamina's important though.

Hmm, so that's how it is. Thanks for answering though; I appreciate it.

A hobby, huh... [She laughs.] At this point, I think it's more like a job.

Oh, don't worry about that at least! My stamina is one thing I've definitely taken care of. [Since you had to have some stamina to even run around during a time where things naturally tired you out easier... Tennis has probably helped with that too yeah.]

Why'd you ask about androids? Are you interested in them?

Mm, a little. I have a friend who's [a beat] really into that stuff, so I was a little curious too! [Which isn't completely a lie; out of all her friends, Fuuka was the most interested in understanding exactly how Aigis operated. But still, Aigis being an android was supposed to be a secret.]

Just have a little faith in me, and you'll see soon enough.

Sounds like they're into computers and technical equipment. I don't know anything about this friend of yours beyond that, but you suddenly seem so excited talking about them. Are they here in Death City?

Oh, no, I don't think they are. I almost wish they were, but it'd be selfish to want a friend to get kidnapped just because I miss them, huh?

[flashing a confident peace sign] Of course!
