Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 18th.

I think I did it once... But I'm not sure if I should be throwing myself down some stairs or trying something else. [He got a lot of... contradicting information when he asked about this.]

That's good to hear. It's relieving to know that Weapons aren't just tools to be used once they've finished transforming.

If there's a silver lining to this war it'd be that. It'd be a lot worse if you had no choice but to obey. At least that's something we don't have to worry about here.

[He's not the type to hold a grudge. And besides, she'd been kidnapped alongside Yako and Naoto and he'd been worried about her. On top of that, he's been in an awfully good mood since Yako was rescued and Sugata arrived. He shrugs at her question.]

The partnership between a Meister and Weapon isn't one of master and servant, they're referred to as partners for a reason. The weapon acts as an amplifier to the Meister's potential, but ultimately they have to work together as a team otherwise their resonance will be poor and nothing of value will be able to be accomplished. A Weapon is just as equal as their Meister, and in some cases are even the ones calling the shots. Even transformed, a Weapon still has the ability to speak with their Meister so it's not as if they're totally powerless once in that form.

[The momentum of diving forward drops Judai to the ground. He pushes up to his knees quickly, though, clutching the other ball.] Oh, you're not getting away that easy! [He takes aim and throws the second ball as Jack dives for the one Judai just threw.]

[Tony is actually just grumpy because STEVE MADE HIM GO TO COMBAT SHIT I MEAN REALLY WHAT IS UP WITH THAT. Also, in addition to grumpy, kinda sore. Which is really not helped by a dodgeball to the back of the head. Tony is knocked forward by the impact and stumbles a little] Guh--what the hell? Did grade school just come back for revenge?

He motions for the boy to come over.]

*Cloud's bit of news makes Auron pay attention.* Did you? That's real good news to hear. Glad to have you back. *He grins*

[Joseph lets his breath out slowly as he hears the boy talking to him. It almost sounds like a sigh. Tilting his head a little, he looks over.]

Hey. This is the best shady place around. You don't mind me sharing, right? [It sounds like he's decided that of course this kid isn't going to mind.]

*You've learned well, Gray. Auron's drinking coffee to wake up some.*

Mornin', Gray. Yeah we did. I don't know if you've met Takuto before but he's one of my weapon students. *Takuto also likes to hang out and ask him questions and sometimes show up at his apartment if he's cooking food. Possibly a gift of all teenagers.*

If the shop were doing better, I'd try moving out and renting one of those bigger apartments I've heard about. Then, I could have a garden on my terrace again, I reckon. [And no annoying sorcerers as neighbors!]

We have cleaned up the Agency after it got attacked. There were injuries but we have recovered.

Good morning, Duo. *Alucard selects a wooden sword suited to his height and weight* Are you amicable to a little spar?

Yako wasn't wrong by comparing him to a wounded animal. Bakura had been hurt badly once a long time ago, that badly that the pain of it had never stopped. It had driven him first violent and later mad with it as the pain had consumed him until there had been nothing left of the individual named Bakura except those excruciating emotions of loss and being hurt - until a certain point had been reached and the pain had turned into hate of an equally pure quality instead. But unlike the pain the rage had been something Bakura had been able to live and control with and which he had somehow been able to reconstruct himself around again. It gave him strength and something to go on and work with and in all those centuries the thief had learned how to live with it as just another part of himself quite well.

Paradoxically his hate, bundled up in neat little packs like his desire for vengeance or his chronic dislike for anybody who would treat him as lower than themselves, was one of those things that enabled Bakura to be quite calm and civil most of the times. Sure, he was a monster, but he was an usually a decent, neatly acting, polite, civilized and on top of that even rather polite monster. That part of what could be called his primal urges got out of control and that much the better of him did more than just annoy him. 'Just emotions that got out of control..' he reminded himself when he barely reacted to the icy bottle against his neck when he finally straightened up and, switching both of his blades into one hand, used the other to take the water from Yako.

His body felt like it was burning and a small pulsing pain at the back of his head reminded him that he had been pushing it pretty far with his little frenzy, so he twisted the cap open and chugged a good portion of the cool liquid down before he finally turned to look at Yako.

"I know." His posture was still tense enough to make him look as if he would snap at the slightest provocation, but despite that Bakura hadn't looked surprised even once throughout their little exchange. "I know. But if I don't.." He trailed off wagging the daggers in a way that was non-descriptive and very telling both at once. If he didn't somebody would get hurt.

Out of Death City?

{She thinks it over for a moment, before nodding decisively. As loath as she usually was to leave the protective anti-Madness bubble surrounding the city, she knew Sasha would be more than capable of taking care of her if things went awry.}
