Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

Ho, quite interesting. I'm almost a bit jealous of that versatility, though I've mine own.

[She sighs and looks at her arm as it changes back.]

It's not really versatile. Back home, I could use different elemental cards equally. Here, I think the resonance I have with a Meister decides on only one that can be used.

[She looks at the other woman.]

What's your ability?

Ho, I see. So thine element changes to suit thy master's preference?

{Kiriha grins at that question]

I can be woven into a large variety of forms and weapons, be it blade, shield or spear.

[A length of obi comes out from behind her, curling up into a large drill shape]

[Sheena's eyes grow wide and she looks impressed.]

That's quite a variety, but like me, you might be able to use only one with your Meister because of resonance.

Hmm, maybe. I was always able to use all of them with my previous partners though.

I hope you can. But remember, what you can do is also based on your partner's resonance here.

For example, you might have one partner who can wield the drill better than another shape you take; while yet another partner can be just the reverse.

Perhaps. In any case, I'm sure it will take a while to teach them the more complicated weaves. [It was the same with Kazuya...]

[Sheena nods.]

That's true with any weapon or ability or technique, though. [She sighs.]

I think though, people are afraid to learn my abilities.

Oh? How so?

[Sheena looks down at her feet for a moment before lifting her head and answering.]

If resonance gets out of control, so can my abilities. It's possible that when people hear of those, they're afraid of hurting others by accident.

[Which is also her fear.]

Any weapon can be dangerous when wielded so unskillfully. Just what could be so much worse about thine?

Have you ever seen anyone struck down by a powerful bolt of lightning?

Or set on fire?

Hrmm, I suppose thou hast a point...

Yeah, and it might not just be the opponent, but the Meister and anyone or anything around them.

[She pauses.]

It's kind of frightening.

Then, I suppose it be of great importance that thou findeth a partner thou canst trust.

Yeah. I thought I had, but he's not interested in fighting, really.

Which, I can understand.

Mm, there certainly be those like that, but it not be of any help if thou art looking to fight.

[Sheena nods.]

Yeah, he said that he doesn't like fighting, but he's still pretty good. I'm guessing that for him fighting is what's called, um... "a necessary evil"? Is that the right phrase?

Hmm, I see. Well, at least he be able to defend himself if it cometh down to it. Still, thou mayest want to look for another partner with which to take a more active role.

Yeah, that's the most important part. [She sighs and looks over to where the Meisters and Weapons were meeting up.]

The same idea occurred to me, actually. I just hope I can find one who's not wary of different weapon styles.

It certainly not be a traditional weapon-style that many would be familiar with. I suppose we art both in that boat though.

[She turns back to the other woman.]

Yeah, I guess we are. [A pause.] Since we have that in common, I've been wondering: Are you from another world as well? Or are you from here?

Another world. Well, it still be Earth, but not one like this with witches and humans who turn into weapons.

[Sheena looks at the girl in astonishment before shaking her head.]

You know, I really didn't think there'd be more than one of this planet, but now that you mention it, the existence of witches and others being able to change would be pretty obvious, wouldn't it?

And certainly, the world I know hath no ridiculous celestial bodies such as those. [She points at the sun. THE SUN.]
