Characters: Everyone!
Location: Training Ground, Shibusen
Rating: PG-13 for violence
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.
Official areas:
FAQ: In need of help or answers? Come here! Staffed by Tenten and Neji.
Breakfast: The incentive for coming to Morning Training for those who actually don't care about Death City. All food providers are given funds to buy/prepare the food and are then paid for the time they spent cooking/preparing. Provided by Saya and Fabiola
Combat Instruction: One can learn and improve on fighting techniques! Staffed by Cloud and Genesis
Sparring: A bunch of people are there. You show up and pick one to fight. Staffed by Hanabi (beginners), Fabiola (intermediate), Amaterasu and Cloud (advanced), and Overseen by Neji
Weapon Transformation: New Weapon? Unsure on how to transform into a weapon (or how to transform back)? Go here! Staffed by Bakura, Aqua, and Gray

Partner Training: Learn how to work as a partner!
Weapons Handling Training: Learn how to handle sharp things and not so sharp things! Staffed by Tenten and Auron
Shooting Range: Learn to shoot a gun, not at quail though, so expect your face to come out of this just fine. Staffed by Sarah Kerrigan, Naoto, Giroro
Meister Ability Helpers: Learn about your Meister ability and how to use it. Staffed by Edgeworth
Finding a Partner: Unpartnered Weapons and Meisters meet each other here!
Medics: A place for medics to hang out, recruit and aid the injured - especially if they get shot in the face by accident. Staffed by Rosalia and CR-S01
Watch: This is where members of the watch meet up, chill, recruit and train! People interested in the watch welcome!
SEES: This is where SEES members hang out, and recruit!
Hug Brigade: A begrudgingly still opened squad dedicated to hugs of encouragement. Thank Lee for this! Staffed by Lee
Evacuation Briefing/Process: Learn what to do in case the city is invaded. Will most likely come in handy for the future! Staffed by Tenten and Neji
Feel free to make your own threads!

Meister Ability Helpers
open (Rintaro Okabe, Reading Soul)
[Maybe on a bit more sleep, this could even be... fun? In that dorky, "hey look I'm in an anime!" way. He might even start to show a little muscle on that wiry frame of his.]
[But he has business here. He manages to find the section he's looking for and enters casually, hands in the pockets of his lab coat. Now where's the guy?]
I'M HERE I'M HERE DID SOMEONE CALL THE SPECIALIST
He carries a practice sword balanced on his shoulder. While he's not built to be a fighter exactly, he shows signs of having been trained in the basics, at the very least.]
Good morning. You are here to figure out what your Meister ability may be, correct?
I SAT AT THE DESK DINGING THIS STUPID BELL FOR HOURS
[And he looks like a complete hardass. He snickers internally. BREW seems to have a thing for people who can't have any fun.]
[He makes a sweeping gesture to the sign.]
Indeed I am. Now how will this work?
WELL YOU SHOULD'VE RANG IT LOUDER
Anyway, Auste failing to describe things aside, Edgeworth brings that sword down from his
broad, deliciousshoulder, sets it point down into the ground and uses it like a cane.]It's quite simple. Because I do not possess Soul Perception, we will deduce your Meister ability from your skills and strengths, and the powers you possessed in your home world.
Alternately, Meister abilities may manifest in battle, so a sparring session is one way to truly discover what yours is.
[It definitely sounds like Edgeworth has pitched this speech to everyone else who asked - certain, almost rehearsed, and with an air of confidence. Clearly, he has been at this Meister ability business for quite some time, and has honed his study to improve at narrowing down a Meister's special power.]
no subject
[Kind of like a lawyer, almost.]
[Wait, sparring? With this dude?! Aaahhhhh motherfucker. Okabe twitches a bit, but quickly returns to an upright, smirking stance.]
Hm... See, at home, the only thing I possessed that could be a "special power" was my Reading Steiner. That was more like a third eye or a sixth sense, though.
no subject
Can you describe it for me?
no subject
[But then... oof, he's got to explain time travel theory again?! He guesses he doesn't mind too much - it's really the only thing that makes him stand out, after all.]
To understand my ability, there's a bit of lead-up. Exposition, if you will. Stop me if you're familiar with any of what I'm saying.
You see, time does not consist of one uninterrupted line. It's made up of infinite timelines, which we call world-lines. If you are killed, for example, and someone travels back in time to prevent your death, two divergent world-lines split off from that point: one in which you're dead, one in which you're not. When your consciousness jumps world-lines due to a time traveler's act, your memories are ordinarily overwritten to reflect the change that happened.
The essence of Reading Steiner is that when I change world-lines, I retain the memories I had from the previous world-line, and the world-line before that, and so on, and I can sense small changes in world-lines that others cannot.
no subject
Time travel, huh. At this point, having accepted the notion of various universes and versions of worlds, Edgeworth hardly raises an eyebrow at this story. There's no reason for anyone to fabricate anything in front of him unless they wanted an inaccurate deduction on purpose.]
And how do you change these world-lines, exactly?
open (Soul Leader)
Even if it's not something he can really use, it's still good to know what he has.]
