Morning Training

Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

Okay, so, let's talk about creating a splint! Whenever you break a bone, it's important to immobilize the affected limb so it doesn't cause anymore damage. The splint can make the difference between having a cast for a few weeks and having to have the bone surgically reset and that extra hospital stay.

You have gotten very good at explaining how to do all of this.

Indeed...with what I have accumulated over time has given me more experience, but I am not exactly the sort of person I think most want to listen to.

I suppose...that I could practice smiling though that will feel quite strange.

[He suddenly appeared self-conscious. He looked around a moment before he just stared at her a moment.]

[She's smiling. You can do it bro!]

[ With a small notebook in hand, Taiyou attentively nods, and mumbles to himself in repetition of Rosalia's words as he takes down notes. ]

Um, what do you do when the afflicted person flinches as you try applying it?

Yes, that's always a difficult part. It's best to make sure they're comfortable before working, but you might have to immobilize them since their flinching could cause complications.

You have to hold them down somehow so they don't move.

Oh... that's unfortunate. I hope I don't end up hurting them more.

That's why you have to exercise extreme caution. See, when most paramedics respond to this kind of emergency, they strap the patient down.

So we can't just do all the necessary things without the proper equipment... that makes sense.

Yeah. Still, as I said, this should help you on the field until you can receive full medical attention. If it's really bad, there's still the SOS.
