Morning Training

Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

[It's an affirmative answer either way, and he's looking around in her fur for any kind of indentification: a collar, a tag, perhaps even a communicator?]

[No collars or tag, but there is a communicator. Now, if she would stop nuzzling him long enough for him to look.]

[And Sasha isn't exactly going to give her a reason to stop any time soon, since his discovery of the communicator just segued into scratching behind her ears.]

[She leans into his hand, tail thumping harder. Yes! She loves it this is awesome!]

[And it will continue as long as she doesn't alert him to any onlookers. He may be all about giving affection to friendly animals, but that doesn't change the fact that he's shy.]

[motherofthesun]

[No, she's not really drawing attention. Everyone else is either far away or occupied with their own things.]

[ferroustigmata]

[Good, that just means more snuggles for her. But eventually he'll try to wrestle that communicator from her--playfully, of course--so perhaps he could find out her name that way.]

[Playful wrestle is met back, but not with her entire weigh. Still, she's lightly nipping and flopping on him.]

[He's easily toppled; he wasn't balanced all that well to begin with, and he's not about to be a killjoy for a cute, friendly animal such as herself. He'll get to that communicator...eventually...]

[motherofthesun]

[She woofs and playfully growls, messing up his hair with her nose and licking his face again.]

[ferroustigmata]

Ah, нет! [He laughs at getting his hair mussed, but he takes the opportunity to get her communicator off of her collar.]

Got it!

[motherofthesun]

[She's left with the sun strap dangling around her neck, not really caring that the communicator was taken away. She does stop though and just lay on him, fuzzy body like a blanket. Hm? Hm? What's happening now?]

[ferroustigmata]

[Her size in comparison to his makes him quite aware of how small he is, but that's not on the top of his mind right now. He's going through her communicator, only deep enough to discover her name and not pry into her privacy.]

Amaterasu, is it? The Shinto goddess of the sun?

[motherofthesun]

[She doesn't really have anything private on her communicator worth looking up. Her ears stand when he says her name]

Ruf! [Ding ding! Now have another lick.]

[ferroustigmata]

It suits--ah!

[He's going to go home smelling of wolf breath at this rate! Though he's hardly concerned with that now. He places her communicator back where it belongs and tries to wriggle out from under her.]

[motherofthesun]

[Nope, he's not getting away that easily. She continues licking, nipping, and nuzzling until she decides okay, he can get up now. Amaterasu stands on all fours so he can move.]

[ferroustigmata]

[Sasha struggles against her, but in all honesty it's really just more cuddling. Once he manages to get out from under her, he adjusts himself and his hair with a smile on his face.]

[motherofthesun]

[As he fixes himself, she sits and watches, her tail still wagging. Well look at him smiling. So cute.]

[ferroustigmata]

[As he finishes putting his hair in place,] So you were brought here by BREW too? Hmm...

[He thinks about how he can communicate with her. She clearly understands what he's saying, but without a mouth to reply...]

Are you a weapon [He holds out his left hand] or a meister? [He holds out his right hand.]

[motherofthesun]

[She nods, tilting her head as Sasha takes a moment to think.]

[Amaterasu watches the hands come out, sitting back and panting happily. It's almost like she's not paying attention at all, but her paw does eventually come up to his right hand.]

[ferroustigmata]

[Make him feel like an idiot holding out his hands like this, why don'tcha!]

Ah...me too.

[motherofthesun]

[She's having fun.]

Ruf. [Did he have a Weapon? Well, she can't ask.]

[ferroustigmata]

[And as good as Sasha is at reading animal body language, he's not a mind-reader.]

Eh...

[Should they use one of their communicators?]

[motherofthesun]

[Her communicator is still visible. She just glances around, trying to figure out how to 'ask' without talking.]

[ferroustigmata]

[It feels like an odd gesture, but he takes her communicator from her once again and offers it to her in both hands.]
