Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Friday, August 13th.

[ Sasuke isn't actively part of the sparring, but it is one of his preferred parts of Morning Training. when he isn't at his posted location helping with partner training, he hangs around this area, apparently scrutinizing everyone in there with his palm on the handle of a katana stuck in his belt.

[ it's hard to tell exactly what the hell this guy is doing over at partner training. his stance, and the way he loiters, suggests he's a teacher, even though he's a new face to most. but even recognizable to the few who remember him, the dark look on his face isn't exactly inviting. ]

[The ranges remain the same, but moving targets have been requested and added. Naoto observed until a student calls for her attention. Distances are still obviously maintained for the moving targets, but the speeds can be changed. Optimal to work with them...]

[ Here and sporting a quiet sort of determination about him (and looking for familiar faces) is one white-haired teenager with an odd mark (scar?) on his face. No coat, half-comfortable in a sleeveless training uniform, seeming to have a left arm that's entirely tattooed a dark red or... something. (Naturally, he's wearing a pair of white gloves.)

If there's a bit of frustration about him—and he keeps his lips pressed together in that lightly determined sort of way so as not to be—it's for feeling spectacularly unaccomplished on this front so far. ]

[Despite the multiple plates of food she managed to pack away from the free breakfast, Kyoko makes her way over to the area of the training field dedicated to pairing Meisters and Weapons with a plastic shopping bag hanging off her arm. Inside, a good dozen or so apples, one of which she's pulled out and is munching on as she scopes out the area for a suitable Meister. Or any Meister, really. It's been so long that she's worked as part of a partnership, that she isn't exactly sure what sort of person she'd be able to cooperate with.

Any free guests with a 'Meister' tag may be approached by the young redhead, announcing her presence with a direct, rather blunt,]

[Today was a little difficult. With the last invasion and missions shifting again (with another investigation apparently today), Rosalia has decided to arrange today's class as a Question and Answer day. Between those, she's taking care of small training injuries so don't hesitate to stop by.]

[ when naruto had let himself get talked into teaching, it had mostly been sakura's idea. but now that the day is here, she- isn't. which leaves him with only sasuke as a fellow teacher and he's not....

[Typical training tasks finished just as well as if he hadn't been truant for a few days, Mondo makes his way to a shady spot off to the side of the training grounds to simply... lie down. And rest. And maybe think things over, or try and keep his mind off them. He's not sure, and honestly, Chihiro's disappearance has left him feeling completely lost. It's pretty lucky, he figures, that he's made some bonds strong enough to help him withstand it, but it doesn't really make his classmate's disappearance hurt any less. The fact that Chihiro didn't actually have a place to return to had been making him feel sick to his stomach ever since he walked in to the programmer's apartment to find it empty, and he hasn't been able to brush off the thought; is this what graduating from Monokuma's twisted school life would have left him feeling like?

He'd take the execution any day over this.]

[She couldn't find Chihiro and she didn't know how Mondo was taking his friend's disappearance. She remembered when talking to Chihiro, she wondered if she had been in heaven. Heaven... Rosalia had wondered that for a second herself, but in the Kishin Chamber with its oppressive air, she immediately thought otherwise.]

[Quietly, she approaches Mondo, hands behind her back. She doesn't really know how to help, but she'll try.]

[Even with his typical avoidant nature, Shinji has been even more distant from the happenings for morning training today than usual. So much so that he even wonders why he bothered coming in the first place. He knows he can't just shut himself off from everything, no matter how much he wants to (it would likely be a pointless effort considering his roommate, anyway), but being here wasn't really serving any purpose, was it?

He can be found around the less populated areas of the training field, looking very much like he's considering leaving in order to sulk in peace.]

[ Sulking was good. Sulking was definitely something that Chika could agree with right now. She wasn't even sure why she had come to morning training in the first place. It wasn't like she was really in any state to find a partner anyway. And it wasn't like she had ever found her partners at morning training. It was other things that happened that led to it.

So eventually, she starts to wander off, and doesn't realize she's near Shinji until she sees him practically right in front of her. ]

Oh. Hi Ikari-san.

[ Not so much taking a break—he didn't take any while physically training—Allen can be found near the end of training off by himself sitting with his back against a tree. Cooling off maybe—there's a bottle of water and the remains of what was a box of donuts earlier that morning by him with a half-eaten one balanced on his thigh—he has his head tipped back against the trunk with his legs stretched out in front of him. Quiet; eyes closed. Taking a deep breath like he's focusing.

And for a moment there's a flare of spiritual energy and a rubberband moment of resonance, a small one but the sort that's bright and white to anyone who could see that sort of thing—

—and then it snaps back and he winces a little at how fast it did.

Meister self-resonance. He couldn't not make it his main concern after learning he could.

The frustration of not being able to do it no matter how hard he tries is also a little irritatingly familiar. ]

Ch... [ Sod it—

He's going to sulk nurse his irritation with the remaining half-donut before he tries again and break off a small piece for the chrome golem sitting on his knee. ]

[ It might already be getting late into the summer, but it's still warm enough that you easily feel really hot whenever you start training. It's why even though Josuke did bring his usual jacket - who knows why he lugs it around even during summer, maybe he just likes his pins too much.. - but he's already long abandoned it, lying in the grass as he's training his punches by himself in his undershirt. But when he returns to the jacket to pick it up again when he's mostly done, he notices the pins have been taken off it.. and he can't just leave without those, they're practically a part of them!

At least he easily finds the culprits, a bunch of birds who are stealing shiny things and leaving them in their nests up in one of the trees.. so it might stand out that there's a dumb-looking guy with a pompadour trying to climb into one of the trees.

.. That branch he just tried to climb up made a bad creaking sound.. someone stop him before he injures himself already. Or ask him what the hell he's even doing. ]

Actually, Takuto is glowing. Very faintly. So faintly it'd be quite hard to see, if he weren't standing in the shade.

He scrunches his eyes shut, takes a deep breath... holds it... there's a shimmer in the air, like something not quite visible but breathtaking nonetheless... and then he exhales loudly and relaxes.

He opens his eyes and puts his hand on his chin, thinking hard.] Hmm.

{Yako, at some point while he was deep in concentration, has nestled herself down in the shade behind him, watching patiently. There are several empty water bottles around her, and she's in the midst of draining one of her last few.

When he opens his eyes, she finishes and leans forward, one hand bracing her chin.}

Amaterasu | Open

[Sparring, grabbing a bite, and watching others, Amaterasu is now at the flower beds again, warming herself in the sun and feeding the animals here today. Some are pets, but most are birds with a few rabbits here and there. When the feedings done, she lazes on the ground, panting happily while the animals do their own thing. She closes her eyes and lets her ears flick. So content as she is, she could be approached at any moment and probably not care who it is. Probably...]

[After talking to Rosalia, it was time to give the plants their watering. Drought resistant or not, they were looking a tad wilted with all the heat lately. And, of course, Lily found a familiar wolf among the flowers.]

[Arm raised, Naoto let the crow land upon her arm without glove, feeling the talons poke her skin. Poe would be careful. Besides, that was merely his landing as he quickly settled on her shoulder. Ever since becoming a Deathscythe, the crow seemed to listen to her more. Without a doubt it was due to the Corvidae Witch's soul, but with or without, he had been good listening to her.]

[Now, if only Watson could be like that sometimes. Speaking about the rapidly growing animal, she raised her fingers and whistled for him. It took a moment, but the sizable animal was baring down soon enough, tail nub wagging and jowls opened. Naoto knelt down and scratched behind both ears, managing to avoid several licks minus one. They would play for a while this morning; Kanji and her had a mission to Oregon to investigate. Just a game of hide and go seek to help with his tracking... Poe was already off.]

Ready? [She pulled out a feather from her pocket so the dog could sniff. Now, hopefully no one would interrupt this game for any ridiculous reasons. Talking would be fine, but spoiling the exercise wouldn't do any good.]
