Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Friday, August 13th.

I suppose it was too much to hope that a trip home would make you more talkative.

[ his breath leaves him quietly, something that would be a sigh if he put more effort into it, if he wanted to bare more than a sliver of it. ]

I doubt it.

[ judging from what the rest of Konoha said, when they were here. he doesn't think the man he becomes, the man in the ninja world, would have said no the Witches' power, here. is half sure he wouldn't have, either, if things hadn't gone the way they did. ]

Pity.

[there's no real bite in the word. nothing more than a vague disappointment, at least, but that's sort of the entirety of his interactions with sasuke at this point, really. you wouldn't think he's the type to keep hoping for more, but then, maybe yuuri rubbed off on him more than he'd thought.

his hands feel restless, finally eased up enough to lose the tension that'd kept them clamped to the hem of his shirt, but he has to settle for crossing his arms idly across his chest. as much as it feels like they've made some huge improvement -- and it really is, objectively speaking -- it's not really enough that he shouldn't keep his hands to himself. he berates himself quietly for feeling the urge at all.

[ Saralegui keeps his hands busy when he wants to do something else with them. the king isn't always restless, per se, not the way Naruto can be, but spending months in his company— Sasuke was perceptive, in ways that weren't so obvious.

he considers telling Saralegui, the things they've told him. that, if he did go back, he'd probably come back unrecognizable. but maybe that's a discussion better left for another day.

his gaze hoods. his grip shifts on the katana. he looks away and nods his chin in the general direction of Rock Lee. ]

Stay away from them. They'll hug you if you get too close.

[for a moment he just looks perplexed, following sasuke's gesture until it lands on the hug brigade. then a smirk curves his lips and he arches an eyebrow at the double-black.]

You only just realized that now? Don't tell me you broke someone's hands in their misguided attempt at a hug.

[ of course not. although he did scare one girl enough to make her nervous. oops. ]
