Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Friday, August 13th.

Kyoko Sakura | Weapon

[Despite the multiple plates of food she managed to pack away from the free breakfast, Kyoko makes her way over to the area of the training field dedicated to pairing Meisters and Weapons with a plastic shopping bag hanging off her arm. Inside, a good dozen or so apples, one of which she's pulled out and is munching on as she scopes out the area for a suitable Meister. Or any Meister, really. It's been so long that she's worked as part of a partnership, that she isn't exactly sure what sort of person she'd be able to cooperate with.

Any free guests with a 'Meister' tag may be approached by the young redhead, announcing her presence with a direct, rather blunt,]

Hey.

[Karina was a partner-less Meister herself, but as someone who volunteered to help with finding others find a partner, she feels that it's better for her to try to help people find their best matches first before attending to her own wishes.]

Hi there. I'm Karina. I volunteered to help people find a good partner. Would you mind it if I asked you a few questions?

[Ah, so she wasn't in the business of finding someone? At least not just yet. Dang. But if she was offering to help, she might as well take her up on it, since there's no sense in being stubborn in an unfamiliar place.]

Kyoko Sakura.

Go ahead, what do you want to know? [She punctuates the question by taking another bite of the apple in her hand.]

*Well, here's an older man with a Meister tag, looking quite disreputable. He raises an eyebrow at the "hey."* Can I help you?

[She'll tilt her head curiously to the side at the question. He's here, with a Meister tag, being approached by a Weapon. The intention there should be fairly obvious, right?]

What kind of weapons are you used to wielding? [That's a good starting point to go off of, right?]

Mondo Oowada | Meister

[Who missed that bright orange pompadour? Anyone? Bueller? Mondo's back at morning training after having skipped a couple of days, and he doesn't look like he's had a particularly easy time of things. Scowling (somehow more than normal?) as he surveys the pickings of partnerless fighters (would it be as slim as usual today?), he appears far more tense than one would typically find him.

Mondo, this is not how you make yourself appealing to potential partners. Sheesh.]

[Thankfully, there's someone who volunteered to help partner people up!]

Hi there. Looks like you could use some help finding a partner. Would you mind it if I helped you out?

[Ah? The help is new, when did that happen? Not that he cares too much, to be honest, but he supposes the offer would be pretty useful. A bit of his irritation seems to leave him, and he lightly rubs the back of his neck.]

Guess that'd help. [Might as well try, right? His tone is still pretty rough, but at least he's being mostly compliant.] What do you have in mind?

[The name tag is rather useless when one stands at the size of a house cat. Still, Kyubey was relying on the curiosity of him being there to lure in potential Meisters to come and attempt resonating. Being within the city wasn't getting enough information fast enough, and apparently, he wasn't high enough to have access to the restricted information. Not that he couldn't slip up there, but not a good impression to make if he was under watchful eyes.]

[He turned his head left and right. Who would be first?]

[As Karina surveyed the different people who were looking for potential partners, she came upon the small creature who she met some days ago as part of the wave of newcomers.]

Kyubey! Are you looking for a partner today?

[He manages a pleased expression back]

Hello, Karina! [That's right; she helps out in this area] I am. I really hope I can find a few potential partners.

[ Despite how upset Chika was right now with, well, everything going on, she couldn't help but just stare at the tiny little cat-like thing that had a weapon name-tag on him. This was... weird, though not really all that unusual. Considering some of the other people/creatures that have showed up here.

But the good thing was that her curiosity was enough to actually coax her away from the edges of the area for a few moments, and she moves over to him and kneels down so she can get a better look at him. ]

Umm... hi there. I guess you're pretty new here, aren't you?

[neverlied]

[Kyubey watches Chika approach with a more surprised one than confusion. Still, curiosity works and he waits, tail swaying from side to side. It stills as she kneels down to speak to him.]

Yes. I arrived here four days ago.

*All right, who exactly recruits a cat with very long ears? Auron looked over the tiny thing. Either BREW was malfunctioning or...or maybe not.*

Haven't seen you around before.

[Said cat is watching him with large red eyes]

I arrived a few days ago. Are you a Meister?

[ naruto has been, admittedly, a little distracted this morning. sakura-chan had talked him into teaching, and while it isn't the first time he's jumped into something without really thinking it through- he is trying to sort his way through it without her.

he's halfway across the field, watching a handful of attendants start to spar when he notices the- cat? ]

O-Oi.

You made it'attebayo.

Okay notifs, work with me...

[His tail's waving back and forth. He had a few resonations today and - oh - he knew this one from the network. Turned in Naruto's direction, Kyubey nodded.]

Yes, I said I would. [He stood up] Do you want to try resonating?

Chika Daimon | Meister

[ Chika's not someone who looks happy to be back in the "Finding a Partner" section of morning training. Her face is in a perpetual frown, which might be better than a scowl, but not by much. The 'Meister' name tag is still on display, at least when she's not in a position up against the wall where her arms end up covering it.

She honestly has no idea why she's even here. It's not like the this part of morning training had ever worked for her in the past anyway. Still, maybe she'll get luck and find someone that she'd be able to resonate with? ]

[The Miester tag is definitely eye-catching, as that's what Kyoko is looking for, and while Chika's stance is that of someone who seems to want to get out and maybe spend the rest of the day away from people, that isn't enough to stop the redhead. After all, the other girl wouldn't have shown up at all if she didn't expect some kind of socializing, right?

She approaches, mindful enough not to look so forward as she might with some of the other free Meisters, and more of a gentle sort of curiosity to her expression.]

You look awfully lonely over here.

[ Chika blinked, looking over at the other girl, and staring for a moment at the red-hair. It wasn't Asuka, she wasn't even able to trick herself into believing that for a moment, though she really wished that it was.

Still, the girl had asked her a question, and well... yeah. ]

I wasn't really expecting to be over at this part of morning training again. Guess I really should've known better than to think BREW would be smart about who it sent back.

Takuto Tsunashi | Meister

[Takuto is always here. But it's not something to get depressed about anymore. He likes resonating with people, even new people, and he's on the lookout for weapons that just might fit his weird set of requirements.

Requirements he's just starting to figure out....

Well, feel free to approach the smiling teen, or try to back away quietly when he grins and waves at you....]

[Kyubey doesn't do the normal approaches. No, he stalks behind people and stares, contemplating whether the venture forward will be of use to him or not. For now, any Meister and seeing how resonation worked was in his favor.]

[Were this his world and Takuto a girl, he would certainly do. Though, perhaps exceptions could have been made. The happy ones always made decent magical fighters. Well, he goes the approach]

Will any Weapon do for you?

[For a moment he's confused... and then he stares down. Is it a cat? At any rate, it's talking to him so he should at least be polite.]

Usually I prefer bladed weapons, but I'll try anything at least once! [He crouches down so he's at eye level with the cat... creature.]

I'm Takuto. Who're you? [Though really, what are you?]

[Wow, is that flashy hair style completely necessary? Either way, it's difficult to miss him, and that Meister tag is what Kyoko's looking for. Given that she's approached every other free Meister in the area, no reason to stop now, right?

She approaches him, a plastic bag in hand which, if the apple she's eating right now is any indication, is full of even more apples. Wow.]
