At some point, something strange begins to happen. People start randomly disappearing. Sometimes they reappear immediately after and they may not even notice, but sometimes there's a noticeable lag between their disappearance and their reappearance.

Sometimes, they don't even reappear in the same place!

At least it doesn't seem to be dangerous. Unless you disappeared from your kitchen and reappeared at the other end of the city. In which case, you might want to start running.

Either everything sort of points at this being BREW related (after all, if it were Witches, there would be a lot more danger).

Description: Shibusen opens its doors to allow you to see the Demon Tool BREW. Feel free to come take a look! ~~FOOL!~~

Yep, that right there is the all powerful BREW. It was perched on a small pedestal on a raised dais located near the back wall with Kid and a few other Shibusen staff lined directly around him. A strange, five-foot circle marked with white tape was placed in front of it on the hard, gym floor. At each door stood at least one security personnel and all the windows were locked and watched.

Right from the start, everyone present is told they're welcome to observe, examine and even to pick up or touch BREW. The only condition is that they can't take it out of the circle.

And don't attempt to attack it: it will reflect all damage right back at you. Someone from Shibusen would have warned you about this.

Otherwise, form a line! And wait for your chance to see BREW. In the meanwhile, there's a little someone without pants who has gotten into here without permission...

[ooc: This is it! BREW is on public display and characters are free to go up there, pick it up, look at it, poke it, punch it, lick it—anything but try to take it or use their Weapon to attack it. If anyone does try to steal BREW, be ready to get shot ~~through the heart~~ and taken down by various numbers of NPCs-. In terms of threading, there will only be one "NPC" designated thread where characters can interact with the NPCs. The rest of the post is open for mingling/reactions/character's own experience with BREW. Since we're not using the BREW NPC journal this time around, feel free to godmod BREW in your tags. Just start up your own thread and use the usual labels: CHARACTER | OPEN/CLOSED As a quick reminder, BREW doesn't really do much except sit there and look pretty. If a character does try to damage it, all force is reflected back right to the character.]

Description: There are Kishin eggs in the city. Like, everywhere. They've pretty much taken over and we can't have that, now can we?

For the past few days, the sound of strong winds and sand hitting glass and walls have become the usual background noise. Goggles and scarves and protective gear have become necessary accessories when venturing outside.

The night before, the winds continued to pick up until, early in the morning, the power flickered and died. For the people staying behind the power comes and goes, but a lot of people won't be around to notice.

Not long after the power goes out, the sound of the sandstorm is joined by the blaring of sirens, followed by an announcement about an evacuation. All residences are directed to Shibusen where they will pass through the mirror usually used by mission goers to travel to their destination.

The shelter they find themselves in is a cylindrical room with lots of bunk beds along the wall and seats on the other side. Don't worry, there are a few of these areas connected to each other via open doorways. There's enough room for everyone! Sort of. At the very least, there's enough room for everyone to fit in there even if there aren't quite enough beds for everyone, especially since it's not only the guests who are here.

At least everyone gets a thin blanket so even if you end up on the floor it won't be too cold.
