Morning Training

Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

[She disengages, popping off Amaterasu and returning to her human form with ease]

Shall I show thee some of the basic weaves then?

[Amaterasu looks up at Kiriha, now Weaponless again. Her tail wags at the mention of basics]

Arf! [She would appreciate the show.]

First, there is the Spiral Weave, like thou wert making- [She extends a length of obi from behind her back, directing it with her hand as it forms a wide drill] This is a good basic form, as it doth not require complex weave and is fairly sturdy and powerful while giving piercing power as well. And as thou learns to control more branches, thou canst easily reinforce it.

[A second extension of Obi follows the first, simply tracing the same spiral around and reinforcing the drill]

[Ohh, that's how it worked? She nodded, her eyes focused intently on the lesson. And reinforcing the drill, uh huh... That made sense and would work.]

And probably one of the most useful weaves is the Shield Weave.

[The drill uncurls quickly and she moves the ends, actually weaving it this time, into a large, square sheet]

Even though it be made of cloth, it's quite strong and resilient to most attacks - though sufficiently powerful tsukumogami and amasogi may be able to pierce it with their attacks; I suppose other weapons here and witches may be equivalent? Thou canst reinforce it as such: Double Layer Shield Weave!

[She forms a second layer as well as a structure of reinforcements between the two layers]

Though that will likely take a bit of practice before it cometh naturally to thee.

[Ah, if she could learn that, it could be like her reflector's barrier. A flash, a block, and a pile-driver! Yes, she was enjoying this more and more as the lesson went on. It would take some time before the shield would work effectively against a Witch's attack though.]

[Kiriha grins, obviously enjoying showing off as she lets the obi unravel, becoming a rather shapeless ball for the moment]

Hmm, I suppose there the Sledgehammer Weave is basic enough- [The seemingly tangled mass quickly forms into a huge hammer] - but I don't see how thou couldst wield it, at least without it being more trouble than it be worth.

[She snorts and waves a paw. Please, she can handle that.]

How wilt thou hold it though? Canst though really swing it using thy teeth?

[Well, she could always just do the tendril version - forget the handle, just put the hammer head on the ends of the branches and swing it that way]

[Yes she can. Don't worry about her.]

Hmm... well, if thou sayest so. In any case, those three are probably the best to master first!

[She nods quickly. Alright! During morning training, they would have to practice together and get it down! Though, not tomorrow, she had a mission.]

Well, then, I think doing this hath truly worked up an appetite for me. Shall we go get something to eat?

[Wow cheating on her already??? Hahah though I don't think they click that well as permanent partners anyway... Kiriha's too respectful around Amaterasu to be a horrible little shit like she normally is]

[That has her full attention. Yes! It is time for food!]

[Awe, and so close to being a match made in heaven... figuratively speaking.]

[Realistically speaking, they definitely would work well together and efficiently... but sadly I'd feel like I'm kind of missing out on a big part of Kiriha's personality if she's not partnered with someone she butts heads with regularly. They could definitely hang out and go on a few missions together though!]

[That works for me! She would gain experience and Ammy would gain experience so temporary is all good.]

[So... now how does one go about doing missions and stuff? Ahahaha...]

[Go to the mission board through the navigation on the community's profile page. It doesn't matter which one, they can all reach the navigation.]

[At the mission board, find one that isn't completed and scroll down to the bottom. Missions work like D&D, relying on rolls. For example, take a mission that has a -1 next to its star. That would be a modifier which makes the mission more difficult to complete. Of course, some missions have +# too which I would recommend we take since Amaterasu can't take autopasses anymore. Once a mission is picked out, just fill out the form for Regular Missions.]

[Remember: There has to be a three day intermission between mission so Amaterasu would be able to go out again in-game on the 30th of April onward.]

[Out of the +category, it seems our choices are "There have been reports of lizard like kishin eggs rampaging through Tibet. These creatures are almost human sized in nature, very quick, can jump to amazing heights and lengths, and have razor sharp teeth and claws." or "There have been reports of the Madness Wavelength increasing in Argentina. Sources indicate that the citizens throughout the country have begun turning on each other, and a few have even started turning into Kishin Eggs. Shibusen has been requested to enter the country and help put a stop to the Kishin Egg threat."
