Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

[This whole transforming into a Weapon is daunting, and he hasn't lingered at this area very often. However, he knows that he will eventually have to learn what he is, and it's about time he built up the courage to make an attempt. He's not all that behind the idea, but it's better than the staircase idea that he contemplated and passed off previously.

Standing to the side, he stuffs his hands into the pockets and watches other people making the attempt, listening as he can for advice on how it all works.]

[It was just as well, Aqua thinks, that Lassie was content to just doze off for a while. It made it easier to teach other people to transform without an over-eager rough collie trying to get in the way. She noticed the man standing off to a side pretty early on, though she made no comment and continued to help the people who came to her.

Eventually though, when there was no one that needed her attention, she turned to him.]

It's really easier if you try it yourself instead of just listening.

[He watches the instruction and the various shows of success for it, and this doesn't seem any easier. Actually tripping down the stairs does seem a little easier, but he's not certain he could do it without consciously knowing, and his son probably wouldn't get behind the idea of pushing him either.

He blinks at the sudden voice, looking over at the young woman speaking to him. He smiles a little and shrugs his shoulders a little helplessly.]

I have no idea what weapon I would become, unfortunately. I never used a weapon back on my world.

It might not even be a weapon, though. You might turn into an object that has some significance to you.

[He paused to think back on the objects that he most enjoyed or used, but there were so few. He supposed a cross-bow or something? That had purely been recreational and nothing more than a hobby now and again.]

Would I be judged more harshly because of a fear of failure on something that everyone thinks is simple?

I can't imagine that a lot of people thought it was simple the first time they tried. I know I didn't. I think, even now, a part of me feels like something like this should be impossible.
