Morning Training

Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

Ruf! [Sure! Just... which weapon would you like her to use?]

Pick whatever you want to use. I could use some extra practice in unarmed versus armed combat.

[Alright... hmm. She trots over to the shield and picks it up with her fangs, tossing it onto her back where it hovers.]

[sixthdeadliest]

[Six raises an eyebrow at the hovering shield but, well, look what else he's seen.]

[He falls into a defensive stance, watching wolf and shield carefully.]

[Amaterasu begins to prowl around Six, shoulders hunched and tail rising. She was stalking him, her lips quivering as she nearly growled, but restrained herself. There was some intimidation factor; she waited to see what Six would do.]

[He carefully weighs his choices as he watches her circle him. A blow from above risked hitting the shield and not inflicting any sort of damage. He'd have to try something else.]

[He dips down and attempts a sudden sweep kick at her forepaws.]

[She springs back surprisingly fast and shoots forward just as quickly, shoulders rolling in a slashing motion from right to left. The shield over her back rose and followed, launching forward as it sweeps across in an arch.]

[That's certainly a new trick.]

[Still crouched, Six leaps into the air to dodge the shield. He backflips back a few feet to put some distance between them. He hadn't anticipated her being able to fling it like that.]

[motherofthesun]

[Amaterasu pursuits, but stops short, springing to the left and beginning to run around him before falling back into a pace. The shield was back in position, waiting.]

[Six darts to one side, keeping low and sweeping his hand against the ground to kick up some dirt to fling towards Amaterasu's face. He can't move quite as fast as he's used to, so he has to make up for it somehow.]

[He then turns on one foot to aim a kick for Amaterasu's shield, trying to knock it away.]

[She's around the dirt before it gets her eyes; instead, it gets into her fur as she keeps going.]

[Her eyes flicker. His foot connects, but her shield slides with the motion. Her jaws open flash open and fangs snap onto his pantleg, pulling him into a twist]

[In that position, there's not much he can do except roll with the blow. He hits the ground but brings his palm up to try and strike her shoulder.]

[motherofthesun]

[She takes the hit, but isn't moving back this time. The shield comes around again from the left this time.]

[sixthdeadliest]

[She has him by the leg. Not particularly helpful.]

[He brings up the heel of his left palm to hit the side of the shield in an attempt to knock it off-course.]

[motherofthesun]

[Her fangs relent.]

[As her shield is knocked away, she finally springs back, proceeding to running circles around him again.]

[Nimble, fast, and low to the ground. Definitely makes for a challenging target.]

[Six keeps an eye on her as he falls into a defensive stance again. He'll let her take the next move.]

[motherofthesun]

[She goes around, watching him fall into defense and soon charges. Her shield doesn't move into a swing; instead, it comes lower to her back and her head is down to tackle him.]

[sixthdeadliest]

[He allows her to tackle him, going down on his back though controlling the fall so he doesn't injure himself. At the same time, he brings a knee up towards her body.]

[motherofthesun]

[That would probably hurt more if she was a male wolf. She flattens herself against him, pinning him against the ground with her weight.]

[sixthdeadliest]

...Well, this is a first for me.

[He has no idea how to get unpinned because you are surprisingly heavy, Ammy. Going to try squirming out from under you. If he can't do that, he'll have to try nastier measures.]

[motherofthesun]

[Nooope. She's not moving, though, she does nip a bit at his hair.]

[sixthdeadliest]

[Okay, he can't be mean to you when you do that.]

Don't start that.

[However, there's the tiniest twitch of a smile.]

[motherofthesun]

[Sorry, what? She can't hear you over the licking she's now giving. Say uncle!]

[Nevaaaaaaaar!]

[He's going to move his head this way and that to try and evade that tongue of yours.]

Stop that!

[You can't avoid her! She is wolf god and she follows with more licks.]
