Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

We haven't discovered life other than humans in my world, so I guess your galaxy must be really different.

I'm not really sure. I hope that's how it works. One of them's alive and well, still here I think, but the other... He... [ A lump forms in his throat, and he can't maintain his eye contact with Tassadar at that point. What he means to say comes through, however. ] He got killed... in battle...

The humans in my sector of space have travelled well beyond their homeworld of Earth, and from what I can see, are well from the future of nearly all those drawn to this world.

[He remained quiet as he listened to the boy's answer. They were words that he could understand well, and with the difficulty that was shown, he inclined his head respectfully.] I have seen those who have fallen in battle have returned to their homeworld, so you should rest at ease.

That would probably mean more than a century from where I was from... Hmm. A whole new journey of exploration, it'd just be like the history books! --Even if I didn't really pay much attention to them, haha. [ At least he admits it. ]

R-really? [ His face practically lights up with the thought. ] Th... thank goodness...! [ He's smiling now, and unconsciously, his eyes started to water too. Wow. He just has no proper way of explaining that surge of happiness. ] S-sorry... I'm just really, really glad! Thanks for telling me!

It is quite possible, for I believe that the terran calendar was 2500 in the year that I was pulled from.

[The reaction was obvious, and he withstood it with his usual calm air.] Indeed. While they may not return here with their memories, those who have fallen here have returned alive and unharmed. [He remembered at least one soul being pulled through as such, and if they can reanimate those who had died in their original worlds here, it came as no surprise.]

So I guess it's safe to say dying here doesn't automatically mean it's over for their homeworld too... Still, it would be best to be careful... [ For one thing nobody should treat their own life lightly. ]

Most humans and species pulled to this world seem to be from around the same time period or earlier. [There was a chuckle at the term primitive.] Indeed. The human technology in my present was considered primitive to my people.

No, it does not. [Tassadar inclined his head at the mention of being cautious, however.] If BREW is powerful enough to return a soul to their living flesh here, then protecting their state in their homeworld would be nothing to the machine.
