Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

A portal is essentially two connected gateways, which allow an object entering one gateway to leave via the other.

I shoot two different gateways, that connect, forming a Portal.

Oh, how interesting! We can give it a try.

[ he focus harder. Well, not that hard, because this is easier than with most people.

As resonance strengthens, Matt becomes a bit lighter and focus on his weapon ability ]

Go ahead, shoot.

[She nods and looks around. Well, it would be a little weird to shoot a portal out there... and if someone shot at it, that would be bad.]

[She decides trying to shoot at the ground just a few feet from her.]

[ good choice. Matt honestly wouldn't care.

On the ground, a blue portal appears, yet still closed. ] That's the blue trigger you pressed. The orange trigger will open the orange gateway and open the portal. If you press the blue trigger again, the blue gateway will disappear and reappear at the new target.

[ Amaterasu is free to try it, if she wishes to. ]

Shoot the orange portal far away, just for more effect.

[Amaterasu moves closer to the portal and sniffs at it. Oh how odd it looks... and if she makes an Orange one, they connect? Huh.]

[Well, she takes aim at a tree and shoots the orange portal, looking back at the blue one.]

[ the orange portal doesn't open, though.

Ah, Matt forgot to tell her it must be on big surfaces. Not everyone has played the game Portal, after all. ]My bad -

it must be on flat-ish surfaces, big enough to hold the portal.

Oh, is that so?

[Then... she'll fire again right next to the other portal because why not? There's nothing else close enough.]

[ an orange portal - just like the blue one - is shot, and soon they both connect. If Ammy leans over one, she will see the sky since the portals and pointing upwards. ]

If you put your tail inside, you will see it on the other portal. If you jump down inside one, you will come out from the other.

Give it a try. And if you would rather not do it yourself, throw in a rock, for example.

[Hesitate to jump in? Pft, no. She springs into the orange one, landing on all fours out of the blue. Her tail wags excitedly.]

[ Matt snorts. Well, that was easy ]

You can still shoot bullets while using my portals. I multitask.

[Hold on Matt. She leaps into the portal again, but doesn't land on the other side. Instead, she just hovers back and forth, dropping in and out of the portals.]

I can see how that would work. [A clever trap could be made]

Yup. [ a small laugh ]

There's plenty you can do with portals. Like fling yourself, throw things, set traps.

All of that will give a Kishin egg a surprise.

[She laughs, but all people will see if a wolf still going in and out of portals with a wagging tail]

It's pretty fun, if a battle can even be considered "fun". [ Ammy, why so cute. Matt kinda wants to pet you some more ]

Seems our resonance is pretty good.

Oh, it's possible! Depends on the tactics and the urgency.

Since we resonated, want to try going on a mission sometime? Might as well see the potential.
