Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

[Psii gives his friend a smile, and goes over to join him, taking a seat not gracefully (will never be graceful), but much less awkwardly than when first arrived and was still getting used to hardware again.]

[Psii gives human nutrition tine a look that might convey has done battle with it before, but resigns self to using it for sake of politeness, and cuts wedge of pancake.]

Might look for potential partner. Don't always come only for breakfast. Resonated with CR-S01 not long ago.

Yes. Was surprised.

[That it went well after rough start, what it felt like--entire experience was surprising. BR is only one who knows extent of what Psii's fears were before tried, and is good to be able to talk to him about it.]

Was able to keep from overwhelming CR. Not at first. But learned. Am glad first attempt was with someone so patient.

Still am not sure if want to take active role in war. Have you been in battle here?

A few times... Mostly when there's the big calls for people, since Vash left. When something like that happens... if there's even a chance I can help someone, I don't want to just sit around doing nothing... Especially when my friends are involved.

Think chaos of battle would be frightening. Have never been in situation like that.

It's pretty terrifying, yeah. [[he nods]] Though really, being a Weapon makes it a lot easier. The Meisters are the ones who have it hard, being there in person...

But if meister is damaged, can't be good for weapon. And injuries in weapon form can carry over, can't they?

[[He's about to say he doesn't know when he pauses, remembering.]] Un... I think so. Or at least they seemed to for my friend who was hurt in his form...

And it's no good for anyone if someone gets hurt. I guess I've just been really lucky that no one I've gone with has when I've been on missions...

Don't have partner, anyway, so don't need to worry about it yet.

Yes, but. Don't want to push to resonate or fight before he's ready. Think would be harder for him than for self.

[Psii had own issues to overcome, but knows SS will always choose words over violence in any conflict.]

SS has never been in favor of violence. Am sure he would fight to defend himself and family, if were only option left. But feel ought to give him time to get used to idea and decide for himself.

I think a lot of people are like that, really... [[a pause as he takes a bite of a large strawberry and chews and swallows it]] Unless you're in a position where all you can do is fight...

[[he was quiet a moment before shaking his head]] Seems sort of cruel that BREW would bring in people like that and back them into that corner...

Wondered about that when first arrived and heard aren't required to join war effort.

[But would never question why anyone or anything, even alien technology, would find it useful to have SS around.]

Can only assume is to give support to those who fight.

Having the support of others, or even having others that you want to protect is important too. After all, if you have the belief of someone behind you, you can create a miracle.

[Psii has heard BR express this opinion before. Still doesn't agree with it, but doesn't want to argue.]

And after war, world will need help rebuilding. It's true that will be allowed to stay if wish to, correct?

Even if weren't dead, would argue for being allowed to stay in strongest possible terms.

[Would Shibusen really let someone help them win war, then send back to servitude? Psii has inherent distrust of government, but doesn't believe they'd be that cruel.]

If had to fight in war to be allowed to stay, would definitely do it.

[[nods]] Un... Almost everybody's made friends here... to be forced apart from them... [[trails off, shaking his head]] I want to stay here with everybody. I'm sure BREW can manage it, even if it takes another wish.
