Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

...So I coulda saved my hands a hell of a lotta hurt? Seriously? [And now he was frowning at himself when he took up the gun again and took a minute to reload it.]

Better now than never, I guess... [He raised the weapon, lined up his shot, and his arms slackened just a mite. Then, he started firing, emptying the clip.]

Yeah... [ He laughs a little, but lets him try out the new stance. Granted, it's probably not as safe as standing there with steel arms like a soldier, but since when had he ever used techniques that were tried, true, and professional?


... Other than on assassination missions.. ]

Though if you rapid fire your aim's gonna suffer..

[And that's exactly what happens. The shots he made, while they did save his hands, didn't do too well for his aim and his shots were downright sloppy now.]

The hell? There ain't some kinda middle ground or something?!

Other than slowing down and taking the time to aim? [ He laughs lightly, shaking his head as if he's most definitely making fun of him just a little bit at the moment. ] Trust me when I say you won't need rapid fire if you aim for the right kill spot the first time.

Makes sense... but the Kishin Eggs like to come in all kindsa shapes; makes it a pain in the ass to work out weak spots, especially if it gets in your face and wants to chew it off.

Well I'm not sayin' that you have to give the thing all the time it needs to take you out or anything like that. If you have to give it something to drive it off until you find that weak spot, you know? It's a lot like hittin' someone's knee caps to make sure that they can't get to you before you get to them...

I got trained the hard way, dude. Do what you have to in order to disable before you even think about the kill if your enemy is a challenge.

Try it again. It isn't like this is an assassination mission - so vitals. Head, neck, heart, any joint that precipitates movement that could lead to escape..

Tch... I can handle any war story you got for me!

[But he turned back to his position, and raised the weapon. Keeping his elbows from locking, he took note of how large the neck and head were as opposed to the positioning of where the heart could be, and the joints. Most kishin eggs he fought had nasty armored heads... so he shot for where the mouth would be, then the neck. ...And just to be fancy he'd try for a couple of the joints too, but they weren't as pretty and pro as the other thoughts were (or so he thought).]

Yeah okay. Says the kid who looks shell shocked when I mention capping someone in the knees.

[ Plus, he's more than sure Kanji didn't want to hear the shit he's had to deal with in war time back where he's from. Either that or if he's really that curious, he could probably ask Keroro for the entire run down on him and the war.

Those are a lot better. You know, when it came to Eggs you could probably also aim for eyes...
