Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

Good morning, Bakura. [She blinked at his heaping plates.] You're really hungry this morning, I reckon.

No more than normal~ [[smiles as he carefully cuts another wedge out out the small stack of pancakes.]]

You usually eat this much at breakfast? But you're so skinny! [She suspected he might weigh even less than her!]

[[As he barely was reaching 115 lbs... she might be right!]]

Aaa--- [[rubs the back of his neck sheepishly]] I guess I just have a good metabolism...!

I guess so. [He was so skinny that she had wondered before if he ate enough but that obviously wasn't a problem.] Do you run around a lot?

[[It's that eating regular meals and not missing dinner due to gaming or being possessed back home that always had gotten him. Really, possession took a lot out of him! As did transforming into his Weapon form here. And the running around doing everything at once. And...]]

Un! I'm not in very good shape, so I've been trying to improve on that... it's pretty important here, after all!

I suppose that's true with dangerous critters getting into the city sometimes. [Thankfully, it's been pretty quiet on that front since the island fell.]

Oh, and thanks for coming by the shop. I was busy with customers then but I noticed you talking to Yuugi. He's been helpful with getting the store set up.

I had to stop by if Yuugi-kun was there. [[smiles warmly]] And since it was your shop. Sorry I didn't stay very long. I'm not really good with that sort of thing.

Not used to vintage? I was a bit surprised when Yuugi first offered to help! But I guess that was more because we were neighbors before. [She hadn't really expected him to be interested in that type of thing either.]

Not really big on clothing, really. Or parties like that. Though at least there weren't any worries about being ambushed by pushy clerks when it's you and Yuugi-kun, ne?

[[He'd been fussed over far too many times back home in department stores... sometimes being in Death City was a huge relief...!]]

[She nodded—most guys didn't seem as interested in clothes—and stifled a chuckle.] I take it you're speaking from experience with pushy salespeople?

Aaah-- you could say that, un.

I really don't have that much luck with girls, back home and I think they almost all seem to know it...

[[Sales girls, fangirls... the only difference seemed to be their age. At least when it was just grandmothers fussing over him, it was fine... but anytime else...]]

Oh, you couldn't find a sweetheart? Maybe, a new outfit might help? [And Lily completely misinterpreted what he meant by not having luck with girls!]

Aaaa-- no, no, that's-- [[he waves his hands back and forth in front of him in negation, trying no to grimace.]] I don't want that type of sweetheart...!

[[The words tumbled out before he realized what they implied. Crap!]]

[She blinked in confusion.] You don't want a girlfriend? But you were just saying you didn't have much luck with girls...

[Being a small town girl from Texas, she hadn't caught on to the implication yet. (Despite now living in San Francisco and once being propositioned by a random woman in a bar due to a misunderstanding!) If Bakura thinks quickly, he might be able to distract her before she realizes...]

Because normally they're bigger bullies than the guys! [[rubs the back of his neck a lot]] Really, with the way the fanclubs and everything have been, I'm really fine without that sort of thing! They'd tear anyone I even looked like I liked apart...!

[And there was more confused blinking.] Um, fanclub...? Were you some type of celebrity back home? [He'd never mentioned something like that before!]

Transfer student... Sometimes it felt like it was almost the same thing, only without any of the benefits... [[sighs deeply. He really really did not understand the kind of girl that chased after him...]]

Wait... The girls at your school made a fanclub for you? Was this in a really small town? [Otherwise, she couldn't see why there would be such a fuss over a transfer student.]

Not even close...

It happens at every school I go to. I don't understand it at all, really....

...Every school? [This happened more than once?!] Were you good at sports then? Or maybe, in the school play?

No worries!

[[he shakes his head]] I didn't need to do anything... Most schools, the club formed before any of the girls had even talked to me... [[a deep sigh. Really, if any of them had even just wanted to be his friend instead of an adoring stalker he wouldn't have minded so much...]]

They didn't even talk to you? Was this considered normal in your world? Yuugi didn't have a fanclub, too, did he? [Sure, there were popular kids in school but this sounded pretty extreme!]

They just talked at me... they were really creepy! And I don't think it's normally, Otogi-kun was the only other one I ever saw who had one... He liked his, though.... but Otogi-kun's that sort of person.

....and his went away after a while. [[stupid lucky Otogi....]]
