[OPEN] Earthquake Event - Clinic
Characters: OPEN
Location: Death City - Clinic
Rating: Varied
Time: January 22 onward
Description: Any disaster naturally will have its set of injured. OOC post here.
The barn that was the clinic had thankfully been spared any major damage, and apart from its furniture and supplies in disarray, it seemed to function without much difficulty. There was the pervading stench of chemical in the air due to broken bottles of medicine, but the open windows would soon deal with that. More importantly, the clinic was ready for its slew of patients, and bustled with its business more than ever.

[Shibuya Yuuri] [22nd After morning training] [Open]
He's a little flustered, and trying to scoop up everything that's fallen over - including the furniture and supplies - but he's free for anyone who has any minor wounds or who wants to help him clean up.]

She'd gone into the school for training instead of the field today. She was technically still recovering from her injuries but felt she was far enough along to practice motions. She however did not feel she was up to a training session from Selendis yet, and certainly not up for someone mother henning her like Neji does at the field.
The whole building shook, it took the quake ending for Clare to figure out it was a quake, she's never actually felt one before. It could have just as easily been an attack on the city. Still while the school was at the highest point of the city, it had the thickest wall's and a construction to last throughout time. So, by all rights, she was very lucky, the building shook, she fell over, but nothing fell on her and the school persisted.
"Yuuri!" Clare called as she spotted the young man trying to get everything back upright, "I... think that's a losing battle right now." She righted a chair and helped the poor guy she found into it. Clare wasn't exactly squeamish, but she was not going to look at the arm that was very clearly defying biology as it pointed in the wrong direction.
It... she didn't think it would be looked on highly if she threw up.

Though Holmes' methods are not always the safest. That being he managed a rather nasty scrap along his shoulder earlier in the morning. Butterfly bandages held it well for the day but now that things are rather settled.]
Watson, here is a new batch of sedatives. They should help with the more...delicate patients.
[Handing Watson a box while holding his shoulder carefully.]

22nd/late evening/night
He had been lucky enough in the earthquake, not getting badly hurt, but the work after words had added to the scrapes and fine cuts on his skin, angry bruises growing across his ribs, shins and arms from the aftermath.
He came through the door and stopped cold, taking in the look of his partner and, used to doing healing himself, evaluated how the blond was most likely doing.]
Hey, Ram.
[He said, moving closer. He needed to know that the other was alright, even if rest was important, he would find out the extent of the others injuries later.]

Colette Brunel l Jan 22nd l Open
Part of her couldn't help being a little glad even, that she could feel the pain and smell the chemicals that were fading through the open windows by the time she arrived. Previously back home, she would have had no idea her ankle was injured and would have continued to walk and help others, thanks to her Angel Transformation's effects.]

[Itou and Sougo] [Jan 22, evening] [Closed]
He had a square gauze stuck to his temple where he'd been cut by debris, and some bandaid elsewhere. All in all, he'd gotten out of that mess pretty unscathed. Couldn't say the same thing for Sougo, however. Itou made his way to the boy now, carrying two mugs of tea in one hand, fingers gripping both handles tight together. It wasn't really benevolence. After the headache Hijikata and Sougo's bickering had caused him earlier, benevolence was the furthest thing from his mind. Itou was just bored. Yeah.
no subject
He huffed a bit before glancing up at Itou's approach, raising his brows slightly. Didn't the guy have enough for one day? But whatever. He supposed he could tolerate the company. "Look. Stitches." He showed off his arm. "I'm one step closer to becoming like Stein-san."

[Naomi Kimishima] [January 22] [Open!]
She's pretty much not allowed to work now thanks to everyone else at the clinic. Naomi's resting in bed and drifting in and out of sleep on occasion; thanks to work she sleeps during the daytime, but it is busy in the clinic and being surrounded by work yet unable to do any of it is notably frustrating.]

[Mary Weather Hargreaves] [All the days!] [Open!]
She had been fortunate enough to have missed any personal damage during the earthquake. It only pushed her to get to work helping more quickly and preparing the clinic for the influx of patients. She hadn't wasted more than a minute 'arguing' with Doctor Watson over her working in the field. She realized that they really didn't have the time to fight when they should be working.

[Ling and Kanji] [January 22] [Closed]
The reason that Ling was here was that he'd found an ache in his heart. The common people of Death City had been caught unawares by nature that they were powerless to defend against. He realized, moving among them during the rescue efforts, how much sympathy he had for them in their worry and troubles. Before, while living as a prince in Xing, he hadn't been allowed to leave the palace for safety reasons, and he'd never been able to observe the lifestyle of commoners and everyday citizens. He could see that these people were good. He'd witnessed loving families, worried neighbors, and people showing kindness to strangers. When night fell, however, a doctor decided that Ling needed a break whether he wanted one or not. Thus without ceremony, the (secret) prince was ordered to go outside and have a meal and rest.
That was why right now, Ling was sitting on the roof of the clinic, with a brown paper bag of bottles of iced tea, water, steamed buns, and sandwiches. He wrapped his cloak closer around himself and munched slowly, staring up at the icy points of the stars above in the night sky.

So there he was, walking back from checking on things at home: He'd lost some glassware and a lot of knick-knacks were knocked over, but they could easily be replaced. Iza, the little gray kitten left to his care, was sleeping in his bed as if nothing happened when he'd visited. Kanji looked once more to his communicator in his travels, the text replies from friends something of a comfort: They were shaken up, but alive... and that was all he could ask for. Now, if Yosuke-senpai would just return from his mission, everything would be okay... a bit broken in ways, but generally okay.
The teen stopped and looked at the clinic building. They would probably let him back in now, but it had grown late. The person he held dear was probably reading, or getting a well-deserved rest. He shouldn't bother her.
Still, he was restless. Before he knew it, he'd found a ladder leading up to the roof and took it. He usually did this at home, taking to the rooftops just to lie back and ponder, and it was perhaps that small ounce of homesickness that led him to take up what felt like such an age old habit now.
Up top, he noticed there was another individual having a seat, a familiar face: Ling was taking a breather himself.
"...Didn't know there was somebody else up here." Well, he could always see if the roof of Creeping Crypt was in okay shape.

[Allen A.] [Jan. 22/Late] [Closed]
Of course, since he's out cold it will be little while before you can do any asking. Unless, of course, you've nothing better to do than rouse him. It looks like he hasn't yet been seen to, anyway, if the fact that he's getting dust and grime all over the sheets is any indication.
(Not his fault, that.)]

Hey. Kid.
[Maybe if he spoke loud enough, he'd wake up. This was already taking way too long for his tastes.]
