The barn that was the clinic had thankfully been spared any major damage, and apart from its furniture and supplies in disarray, it seemed to function without much difficulty. There was the pervading stench of chemical in the air due to broken bottles of medicine, but the open windows would soon deal with that. More importantly, the clinic was ready for its slew of patients, and bustled with its business more than ever.

The people who work here are a little busy right now, but I'm sure someone'll be here to help soon-

[aaaaand then it sinks in.] -a building?! Are you okay?

I live to inadvertently troll Firion.

I was fortunate. [Same calm tone.] My armor took the brunt of the collapse. [Looks down at the split pieces, and it's only now that some consternation enters his voice.] I do not believe my injuries to be severe.

To be fair, it's not exactly difficult to do

It's probably still best to wait for one of the doctors to come back, but-

-...a building. [Yes he is stuck on this detail.]

-I can take a look at it, if you want. I lost my white magic when I came here, but I'll try. If you don't think it's that bad, it'll save the doctors some work.

[That merits an intrigued look from the Warrior, as he has no memory of Firion ever knowing white magic. But that can wait until later. He reaches down to peel up his shirt, but--] Is there a place to go for this? [More than once has he been bedeviled by the 'no shoes no shirt no service' ...thing. And this place does seem crowded and busy.]

For... your shirt? I don't think anyone will mind where you put it.

[If fanart and his game's character designs is to be believed he considers shirts totally optional no matter the circumstances.]

[Well all right, then. He carefully places the armor on the floor, out of any walkways, then peels off his by-now-quite-dirty-from-working shirt, draping it over his arm as he indicates the most painful spot on his side, marked by livid discoloration and some swelling. There are other bruises, but they're much more minor, especially by comparison. By his estimate, he's cracked a rib, which worries him very little.]

[He looks at the injury, frowning. It's only just sinking in that none of the bottles scattered around the clinic are actually potions, and there's not a lot he can do without them. He has something of a grasp on first aid, but only as far as 'make sure people don't die until you can find a potion or use cure'. This is beyond him.]

Do you think anything's broken?

I suspect a rib has cracked. [Maybe two. Details. And nothing he would worry too much about.] Other than that, I have no injuries of note. [Bruises, a couple cuts, mild abrasions, and general banged-up-ed-ness. All he'll need is a good night's sleep!]

That's... probably something I ought to call someone over for. [He's trying to help, but without the ability to use Cure he's kind of just good for moving things around and directing the people who do know what to do to new patients.]

I can find something cold for you to hold against it until someone's available, though. It'll make the swelling go down.
