The barn that was the clinic had thankfully been spared any major damage, and apart from its furniture and supplies in disarray, it seemed to function without much difficulty. There was the pervading stench of chemical in the air due to broken bottles of medicine, but the open windows would soon deal with that. More importantly, the clinic was ready for its slew of patients, and bustled with its business more than ever.

[He almost instinctively responds with 'I am fine', but...well, that isn't true, and he'd like to avoid Karkat browbeating him more, and he did say he would go...]

I came to seek treatment. [He doesn't sound pained at all, which is probably a good sign. Maybe.]

Have you seen anybody yet?

[He gives the short kid a quizzical look before speaking.] I have seen many people here. But I have only spoken to you. [It is very busy here.]

Maybe you should find somebody.

[And it finally connects--]

You mean a doctor.

[He looks around the hustle and bustle of the clinic.] How shall I know them?

They should be busy doing things! Like--

[He's not actually sure how to explain this.]

...Like carrying things, or treating injuries. Anyone who's just helping out here.

[Clearly, there are many doctors here.]
