The barn that was the clinic had thankfully been spared any major damage, and apart from its furniture and supplies in disarray, it seemed to function without much difficulty. There was the pervading stench of chemical in the air due to broken bottles of medicine, but the open windows would soon deal with that. More importantly, the clinic was ready for its slew of patients, and bustled with its business more than ever.

That is strange, isn't it? I keep expecting someone to come out and tell us this wasn't a natural earthquake...

[But she was going to count their blessings that this seemed to be all it was. She wasn't sure how the city would be able to handle an attack on top of all of this.]

[She shudders a bit. They probably weren't in any state to be dealing with another attack.]

So, they're going to let you out of here soon, right?

Probably. They tell me it's not very serious. As long as I don't do anything strenuous and avoid hitting my head again I should be fine in a few days.

[But a change of subject would be nice right about now, wouldn't it? All this talk about injuries and possible attacks wasn't really healthy.]

So I heard from Takuto that the two of you are dating.

*Chika nods at that, before blushing a bit and giggling softly.*

Yeah. We've been dating since December.

*There wasn't any reason to ask how she knew Takuto, since Aqua and Riku used to be partner's and all.
