Description: And then it gets worse.



By now, no one is popping in and out of existence, but that's hardly any consolation when odd things keep happening.

At first it's not that bad. An innocuous item or two shows up. Something harmless wanders around that you're sure has never been in Death City before.

By the second day, bigger and more dangerous things start showing up and by the third...

Well.

As long as you don't mind the giant pieces of debris or creatures blocking the road or the sky, it's not that bad, right?

[And an even bigger roll of her eyes.]

You can't do it? Or are you just afraid to because this Kero-ball is really something lame?

Y-You take that back! It isn't lame! It's the strongest weapon at the Keron army's disposal!

[pirateninja]

Yeah, right. [Her tone is clearly skeptical.] I'd find that easier to believe if you could actually demonstrate.

[Meanwhile, a green tinged severed hand is sneaking up on her from behind, ready to knock her over again...]

You-

[Was that a hand.]

[pirateninja]

I what?

[And the hand flips into the air, slapping Morgan in the back and causing her to faceplant in front of the alien. ...Or she would have faceplanted if she hadn't turned into a glass with a picture of a volcano on the side. The glass rolls on the ground, scary glowing red liquid that looks kind of like lava spilling out.]

Uuugff!

[Keroro, being a supportive character and overall great role model, immediately comes to comfort her for having fallen.]

Y-You were making fun of me and all you turn into is a cup, de arimasu?!

[pirateninja]

[Morgan is not pleased to be a glass again. The red liquid bubbles as she stews inside her Weapon form. Meanwhile, the hand escapes to cause mischief elsewhere.]

Hey! It's not as if I'm supposed to be a cup! They told me I was a Meister when I got here!

And now you're making excuses, de arimasu?

[pirateninja]

It's true! I never turned into a Blood Island Volcano Shot before two days ago!

[starfruitfrog]

A likely story, de arimasu.

[pirateninja]

Well, I didn't! You can ask your red friend if you don't believe me!

[starfruitfrog]

Maybe I will, de arimasu!

[And at the mention of Giroro, he stops. Oh, right. Hoverboard.]

But maybe later, de arimasu.

[Well, she doesn't see Giroro around anyway. She's still doesn't completely believe him about the Kero-ball though and is grumpy that she's a glass rolling around on the ground.]

Hmph. Could you at least turn me upright?

[starfruitfrog]

[And he's all helpfulness and smiles again.]

Oh, of course, de arimasu!

[Hoverboard abandoned for now, Keroro trots on over. Maybe he should have thought about this more seriously, but he reaches out for the glass without any worries that because he's a Meister and she's a Weapon that they may resonate.]

[And even though she's not consciously trying to resonate with him, her soul instinctively tries to make a connection. He might sense her independent and confident nature, even if if might be wavering a bit since she's an inanimate object at the moment.]

[Keroro's whole life is making connections with people. He liked making friends. And in some ways, her soul kind of reminds him of Giroro's brother. Terrifying, of course, but more than that...dependable. This is why when she reaches out for him, his soul unconsciously reaches back.

His was a bright soul, carefree (maybe a bit too carefree) and unstoppably friendly. There's the definite feeling that he was going to do what he wanted, and even if anyone tried to stop him, he'd probably continue to do whatever he wanted.]

Wait a minute... What's going on?

[It feels kinda like resonance but didn't that Keronian creature claim to be a Weapon? He seems much too carefree, too.]

[The level of the scary-looking red liquid in the glass starts to rise as the link forms. It's hot and glowing. Does Keroro dare try it?]

[starfruitfrog]

[It's hot and glowing and rising...so Keroro chickens out and drops the glass on the ground.]

[pirateninja]

Hey! Why did you drop me!?

[Even if she didn't feel it much in this form, she still wasn't happy about it. And the glowing liquid was now spilling out into a sizzling puddle that scorched the grass.]

[Keroro stares at the blackening grass in horror.]

Of course it's because the stuff inside the glass was glowing, de arimasu! And rising!

Who would hold onto something so obviously dangerous, de arimasu?!
