Description: And then it gets worse.



By now, no one is popping in and out of existence, but that's hardly any consolation when odd things keep happening.

At first it's not that bad. An innocuous item or two shows up. Something harmless wanders around that you're sure has never been in Death City before.

By the second day, bigger and more dangerous things start showing up and by the third...

Well.

As long as you don't mind the giant pieces of debris or creatures blocking the road or the sky, it's not that bad, right?

[Keroro was walking by the park on his way back from Death by Pastry when he spots the red thing in the tree. He almost misses it the first time, but he doubles back before he turns....because was that....


IT WAS!


Giroro's hoverboard! And Giroro wasn't around to tell him not to mess around with his stuff! Croissants forgotten, Keroro immediately scurries over to try to get it out of the tree. Too bad it's really high up.]

[Did you think he wouldn't be standing behind you all this time?

Though he hasn't actually noticed the hoverboard yet.]

[All this sitting around looking for another frog was tiring work, especially when he was once again drying out. Thankfully, the park had water sources where he could revitalize himself, since being a frog was not his idea of a great time, especially when it had been for almost two hours.

He was hidden in the curtain of Sephiroth's hair, bobbing up and down with the older man's gait, but his eyes were looking for a water source or another frog. His gaze caught on the latter first, and he sprang from Sephiroth's shoulder to land near the other frog going for a tree. He puffed up, issuing a sharp croak before recognizing the individual as distinctly not a Touch Me Frog.

In a matter of seconds, Cloud deflated and issued a displeased gurgling noise as he sank down to lay on the grass.] False alarm....

[Sephiroth could see that Cloud was growing tired of his form. While Sephiroth still felt some level of amusement in it all, he too was looking forward to having his partner back to the way he was. It had been entertaining to see it for the first hour or so, but now it merely came down to a time of 'hide and seek'. Pity that their opponent was hiding a little too well. That wouldn't prevent them from continuing their search.

The movement of all the creatures in the park disoriented him for the moment as his senses picked up every vibration they made, but Sephiroth paused to re-orientate himself as Cloud leapt off to go and capture his target. It turned out to be another false one judging by the way his partner deflated at the sight, and he offered Cloud a light chuckle more to dispel that displeasure than to mock as he crouched down and held out a hand to his partner.]

We will find one in all due time.

[The croak makes Keroro jump guiltily, because technically....he should not be trying to claim a hoverboard that wasn't even his. Not even when he was invoking the Pekoponian law of finders-keepers. When he sees who it is though, he just stops and stares.

There was a frog.

Never had Keroro been more glad to not be dressed as a princess.

His eyes dart to the hoverboard and then back at the person he recognized as Sephiroth and whoever that frog was.]

....C-Can I help you, de arimasu?

[It was difficult for him to be a frog and read other frog expressions, but he swore there was some guilt. He still lay deflated on the grass in the shade of the tree and sighed heavily, his webbed feet spread all over the place in a haphazard way.

Finally, he levered himself up and hopped towards the waiting hand. He settled in Sephiroth's hand, taking up the whole thing with his new body and latched his mouth on the older man's thumb. Given he had no teeth and just as much jaw force, all he managed was to grip minimally and then gave up.]

[Having worked with Giroro a couple of times before, Morgan recognizes the type of creature he is even if he's a different color.]

Another Keronian?

[But what is it doing? Trying to climb the tree?]

[HE'S NOT DOING ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS.]

Uh. C-C-C-C-Can I help you, de arimasu?

[His eyes dart in the direction of the hoverboard, guiltily.]

Are you friends with that red one?

[And she notices that movement of his eyes, also looking up. Is there something in the tree?]

.....Did he do something to you, de arimasu?

[Because if he did something....then Keroro doesn't know him at all.]

I worked with him a couple of times.

[Actually, he rescued her from some giant worms during the sandstorm...]

Oh. You partnered with him, de arimasu?

[pirateninja]

Yeah. I would have preferred a sword but not many wanted to go on missions.

K-Kero....well...he is pretty useful for stuff like that, de arimasu.
