Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. This training log happens January 30th.

FAQ: For any character confusion or questions. Answered enthusiastically by Maito Gai.
Breakfast: Provided by the combined efforts of Cinderella, Katakura Kojuro, Saya Tagaki.
Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.
Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.
Batch 4: Experienced fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Selendis. Please see list of random sparrers.
Weapon transformation: How to Change into Your Weapon Form. Yuuri, Ishida Mitsunari, Spirit.
Soul Perception: If you still don’t know by now-- Any of the Soul Perception people. Luna Lovegood, Azusa.
Partner training: How to Work Together as Partners. Tassadar and Nataku. Maka and Soul. Shizuo and Motochika. Eve.
Weapons handling training: Genesis, Tenten.
Shooting range: How to shoot things 101. Grit, Vash the Stampede, Leon. Fuu Hououji (for Archery).
Meister Ability helpers: Edgeworth, Death the Kid, Ryuuji.
Medics (and First Aid Training, lead by Naomi Kimishima): All the medical people.
Audience: Because some people just want to watch.
Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

[Oh Sasame certainly doesn't mind. Obliviousness is fun, too. Of course, if Orihime keeps talking like that he's going to burst out laughing.]

[She holds out her hand.]

Ready Sasame-san?

Yes. I'm ready. [He smiles and takes her outstretched hand.

At first he thinks it'll be just like preting, but as soon as their hands touch, it feels like something very different. The energy humming between them isn't like leafe, and it's not something he feels he can control as well. It's similar--he knows some of the energy is coming from him--but he's never exactly felt his soul before, so it's difficult to control. The connection's there, but a bit distant, and he has a hunch that it's something he's doing wrong.

He takes a deep breath and tries to force his soul's energy to reach out to Orihime's a little more.]

...I kinda feel like I'm writing naughty things.

[Orihime shivers a little when their hands touch and he transforms. Oh..this was a weird feeling. As someone who had never experienced this sort of partnership, Orihime was still very new. She closes her eyes and feels his soul's energy slowly reaching out.

With concentration, Orihime feels her own soul's energy reaching out as well towards him to connect.

She opens her eyes again and grasps Sasame's weapon form.]

[He chuckles a little.] Away from people! Or, more specifically, I think there might be some targets we can use to our right.

Oh--eh heh. That is a good point there.

[She walks to the right, spotting the targets nearby. Orihime chooses the last target and holds up the bow.]

..You know, I've never really...shot an arrow before.

Luckily, I have a little experience with a bow. Although I don't really know how this form of mine works. I might be able to at least give you some advice?

[She giggles]

That's right Sasame-san!

[Orihime holds up his weapon form, peering closely.]

I wonder--would the arrows be...our energy?

[wordsgate]

Hm...yes, I think it might be. That would make sense, if that's where we get our power from. [He pauses.] Maybe...if you tried to focus on that energy and carefully aim at the target...

[healinghime]

Okay!

[Orihime vaguely wondered if it was like how Ishida produced his arrows. She closed her eyes, pulling Sasame's weapon form into the right position. Orihime opened her eyes as she focused hard on the target. Though was it noisier now? Slowly, she let go of the bow and the target fell over, breaking apart.

The poor princess looked startled.]


WOAH! Um..I-I hope I did it right.

[wordsgate]

[He just laughs. He'd applaud if he had hands right now.]

Well, I'd say you did! If that was an enemy, I think we would have easily wounded him. Well done!

[He pauses for a moment. Something feels...not strange, exactly. 'Normal.' It's like his ears have been unplugged a little.]

...Could you test something for me?

[healinghime]

[She slowly smiles brightly.]

You think so?

Oh yes-what do you want me to do Sasame-san?

Ah...that tree there, a way ahead of us and to the right? I think there might be a bird there. Can you hear it?

[healinghime]

[Hime listens closely, hearing the faint tweeting over the chatter of people.]

eh? Yes why?

[wordsgate]

I didn't hear it before. I think the crowd might have been too distracting...I was curious to see if you could hear it, too.

[healinghime]

I-Is this part of your abilities too?

[wordsgate]

I'm not sure, but it might be. I had, erm, sharper hearing back home but I lost it when I came here. I felt like I could hear better once we started to work together. [And then his tone changes, sounding more disappointed.] But it's still not as strong as it used to be.

[healinghime]

Maybe you have to work up to it with your partner?

[wordsgate]

Hm...that might be it. It'd be worth a try, anyway.
