Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. This training log happens January 30th.

FAQ: For any character confusion or questions. Answered enthusiastically by Maito Gai.
Breakfast: Provided by the combined efforts of Cinderella, Katakura Kojuro, Saya Tagaki.
Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.
Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.

[ he's surprised over half a mouthful of food, which is quickly gulped down. ]

To say the very least! The amount of food is overwhelming! However, there are a great number of people here... more than I, Yukimura, would have expected!

I think nearly all the guests attend training every morning. Or most mornings.

[ Well, that's a HUGE undertaking... ]

Have you been acclimating yourself well to this environment?

Ah... There are a great number of things that I do not understand as of yet, however, I am doing all that I can to settle myself properly! It is not as difficult as I had expected, at the least. Surely, I am not the only one who had some problems with it?

Not at all. I was quite confused by a very many things when I first arrived here. *Some things were still odd.*

It seems bringing those such as ourselves to such an odd place is counterproductive! We must take time acclimatize ourselves.

[Guess who is standing right next to him, a plate piled high of food? Breakfast is Masamune's favourite meal of the day, and today he is taking the opportunity to try all these strange and cool new foods. Like pancakes, for example. And bacon.

But he gets a whiff of something and he looks to see that he is standing to no other than Sanada Yukimura.

Sanada Yukimura.

It takes all his restraint not to start shouting and throwing himself at Yukimura, not with the food in his hands.]

[ Someone is staring at him. Yukimura knows this, he can feel it, like the gaze is physical and it only takes a glance to see who it is. It is unmistakeably Date Masamune.

He takes a step back, managing not to spill his plate in the process. ]

Date-- Masamune-dono?! You are here as well?!

Yeah!! Got up especially to see whether you'd appear here!

[Kojuro would yell at him if he just discarded his food now after he put on his plate but Sanada Yukimura was right in front of him. Masamune takes a step forward towards his rival, the pile of breakfast wobbling ever so slightly.]

I never got to ask what shape your soul took either.

I must always seek to better myself, Masamune-dono! For the sake of the Takeda and now, Death City!

[ and that's why he's here feeding his face. His grip on his own plate is like iron - it's not going anywhere even if Masamune challenges him to a duel right here and now. ]

The shape of my soul..? I-- I, Yukimura, do not yet know! Indeed, that is what I have come to learn!

Okay! I've come to this place to learn about my soul too. Apparently I'm a Meister, whatever that is.

[Masamune's got six chopsticks in his hand that isn't holding a plate of food. Does he want to duel with Yukimura or does he want food? Yukimura? Food? Yukimura? Food?

Can he have both?]

Sanada Yukimura! Would you join me in eating breakfast? I can't fight on an empty stomach.

A Meister..! Certainly, such a role is appropriate!

[ He feels kind of bad for just being a Weapon, but even a Weapon can do things :'(

The offer of eating breakfast is abrupt but not unwelcome, so! ]

Ah-- yes, I would be more than glad to share the meal with you!! If you are quite finished..!

[Masamune takes the lead in picking out a spot on the breakfast table where they can sit facing each other. He seats himself down on one side and gestures for Yukimura with a sound from his throat to take the other.

Now, food.

He's got six chopsticks. Mind you he's not going to eat with all of them, he just likes having six of them on hand. That doesn't stop him looking like he's going to attack those pancakes, bacon, hash browns with chopsticks.]

Let's eat!

[ As surreal as it is, he wouldn't eat with Date Masamune any other way. Facing his opponent -- meal partner, Yukimura nods with determination. ]

Yes!! Let us eat!

[ he is, as a matter of fact, using two forks. It's going to be a fight to the death here, folks. ]

[With three chopsticks in each of his hands, Masamune digs into his food with great gusto. He loves his breakfast, it's probably his favourite meal of the day.

He's using his chopsticks in one hand to dice his food into pieces that he can pick up with the other, and it's almost a physics defying feat that he's able to eat at all considering the precarious position of everything.]

[ Yukimura is trying to eat just as quickly - breakfast may or may not be his favourite meal but he's thankful for any food at all - stabbing at his meal with wild abandon before shovelling it into his mouth.
