Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. This training log happens January 30th.

FAQ: For any character confusion or questions. Answered enthusiastically by Maito Gai.
Breakfast: Provided by the combined efforts of Cinderella, Katakura Kojuro, Saya Tagaki.
Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.
Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.
Batch 4: Experienced fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Selendis. Please see list of random sparrers.
Weapon transformation: How to Change into Your Weapon Form. Yuuri, Ishida Mitsunari, Spirit.
Soul Perception: If you still don’t know by now-- Any of the Soul Perception people. Luna Lovegood, Azusa.
Partner training: How to Work Together as Partners. Tassadar and Nataku. Maka and Soul. Shizuo and Motochika. Eve.
Weapons handling training: Genesis, Tenten.
Shooting range: How to shoot things 101. Grit, Vash the Stampede, Leon. Fuu Hououji (for Archery).
Meister Ability helpers: Edgeworth, Death the Kid, Ryuuji.
Medics (and First Aid Training, lead by Naomi Kimishima): All the medical people.
Audience: Because some people just want to watch.
Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

You are thinking too much about such a basic concept. Clear your mind and envision yourself holding your weapon of choice... But then allow your mind to remove its hilt. You are holding this weapon, yet you do not hold it at all. The there is no grip nor guard, yet the blade remains supported.

Now begin.

[Hadn't he already made it clear that those kinds of instructions don't make any sense?

But fine, with one final glare at his instructor he turns his gaze to his hand.

Forgive him if he doesn't do much beyond that for a moment. Kid doesn't have much of an imagination unless it happens to involve politics.]

[Everyone else was capable of following his instructions - his assumption is that Waltz is just an imbecile.]

Keep your eyes closed. Focus. You are holding that sword. [He says this sternly, trying to make sure it's drilled into Waltz's head.] Now the grip disappears but your hold remains strong - your hand, yours fingers, they no longer serve as your means of holding that hilt, they are the hilt.

Visualize your arm transforming now. Flesh and bone becoming cold and unforgiving steel.

[...this almost makes him wish they were in Forte right now (despite the fact that he'd ordered Legato to destroy it) if for no other reason than to throw this man into the dungeons.

He looks up long enough to make sure Mitsunari saw his glare before doing as he was told and closing his eyes.

His hand curled a little when he tried to imagine holding the familiar grip of his weapon...but he frowned again at the next part. How was he even supposed to imagine that? Then he remembered there was a kind of monster without hands, and in place of it had spear like appendages. Maybe if he imagined it as something like that?

But to imagine his arm transforming...

He remembered Legato and his transformation after ingesting the more potent mineral powder. That flash of light before the man was replaced by a monster.

He tried to hold onto that image along with that of his weapon. In the process he started to feel a change except the moment he became aware of it, the change stopped, leaving his entire arm transformed but the rest of him still completely normal.

His frown deepened.]

[That's about as far as Mitsunari himself got own early attempts - though it isn't something he's going to openly admit. Instead he simply nods at Waltz' transformed arm.]

It is a start... You will have to focus yourself more thoroughly if you desire to be of use to anyone.
