Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. This training log happens January 30th.

FAQ: For any character confusion or questions. Answered enthusiastically by Maito Gai.
Breakfast: Provided by the combined efforts of Cinderella, Katakura Kojuro, Saya Tagaki.
Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.
Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.
Batch 4: Experienced fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Selendis. Please see list of random sparrers.
Weapon transformation: How to Change into Your Weapon Form. Yuuri, Ishida Mitsunari, Spirit.

Shooting range: How to shoot things 101. Grit, Vash the Stampede, Leon. Fuu Hououji (for Archery).

Medics (and First Aid Training, lead by Naomi Kimishima): All the medical people.
Audience: Because some people just want to watch.
Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

Unfortunately... The only weapon I have any experience at all with is a kaiken... [and even then it was mostly just... carrying it. ha...]

[She moves him upright again, setting his weight to the ground.]

I suppose I should be thankful I'm a weapon and not a meister...

[Ling lets go of the weapon form and falls back into himself, feeling that strange inside-out turn as his body reforms.]

What is a kaiken? Is that what you turn into?

[;aslkdjga;dgka--damn it, Ling, a little warning next time! She manages not to react to the sudden transformation outside of momentarily widened eyes but still--NOT USED TO THIS YET!]

Ah... [she shakes her head.] No, I'm a tessen. A kaiken is a dagger. [she motioned the rough size with her hands.]

[There's a gently playful grin on his face at her surprised look! Hi, standing too close to you. He takes a step back.]

A tessen, huh? Let's see it.

[He waves his hand as if to say, right now, let's go.]

[She saddles him with a flat stare... before one brow quirks by the smallest fraction.]

You're a little demanding, no?

[still, she reached out a bit]

Here, give me your hand, then. [Because she wasn't going to clatter to the ground from four feet up when she didn't have to worry about scorching his palms off.]

I am? I was just being natural. How was that bad?

[He reaches out his hand and takes her tiny one in it, the callouses on the pads of his fingers rough on her soft, cold little digits.]

Oh my god! How is your hand this tiny?! It's like I'm holding hands with a kitten. A.... frozen kitten, that is.

[He rubs her fingers with his, trying to warm them.]

[Well... she had been getting ready to put herself in the right mind frame to transform, but there went her concentration. Her eyes go bit wide between the commentary and the touch, her face flushing a bit because what the hell are you doing, Ling?]

[--and then in an instant, no thought or concentration involved, she shifted into her tessen form. Apparently the key to swift transformations was embarrassment.]

[Happily oblivious to whatever she was thinking, Ling is now standing there holding a battle fan.]

Ah, I see! You're a tieshan. An iron fan. Wow, that's pretty neat!

[Alright, get over it Tomoe. You're not in Japan, obviously with the constant hand shakes hand holding isn't as big of a deal here. =__=;;;]

As I understand it I should have... some kind of power... I'm unsure of what it might be... Though I do believe I have some kind of resistance to madness if nothing else...

My form is supposed to have a power, too. But I haven't found out what it is either. Don't despair, you'll find a Meister and it'll happen!

[Ling moves away from the wall he was leaning up against, out in the open. He begins a series of forms he learned when training with the iron fan long ago.]

I was never very good with these. Let's see...

[Ling moves slowly in a series of postures. Block high to the left, to the right, shove forward and then bend back. Each movement is carefully calculated and controlled, moving with the rhythm of his breathing.]

[He flicks the fan closed and proceeds to roll low to the ground to the right and thrust upwards as if jabbing a taller opponent in the vitals. Collect the chi back into a sphere, roll to the left and thrust up to that side as well.]

This is hard if you're not a smaller person. Most of these moves were made for ladies, because it was ancient ladies who carried these fans. You have to have short legs and arms for it to feel right.

[Tomoe has technically seen katas performed. This is the first time she has actually been part of one... It's still bizarre--even a little dizzying to a point.]
