Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. This training log happens January 30th.

FAQ: For any character confusion or questions. Answered enthusiastically by Maito Gai.
Breakfast: Provided by the combined efforts of Cinderella, Katakura Kojuro, Saya Tagaki.
Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.
Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.
Batch 4: Experienced fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Selendis. Please see list of random sparrers.
Weapon transformation: How to Change into Your Weapon Form. Yuuri, Ishida Mitsunari, Spirit.
Soul Perception: If you still don’t know by now-- Any of the Soul Perception people. Luna Lovegood, Azusa.
Partner training: How to Work Together as Partners. Tassadar and Nataku. Maka and Soul. Shizuo and Motochika. Eve.
Weapons handling training: Genesis, Tenten.
Shooting range: How to shoot things 101. Grit, Vash the Stampede, Leon. Fuu Hououji (for Archery).
Meister Ability helpers: Edgeworth, Death the Kid, Ryuuji.
Medics (and First Aid Training, lead by Naomi Kimishima): All the medical people.
Audience: Because some people just want to watch.
Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

[The slightest moment of hesitation shows on Sapphire's face (without Pokemon, now) before she responds with a smirk and a nod.]

*Chika giggles at that, sinking into a fighting stance herself.*

I think I'll be fine. Now let's go!

*And with that Chika starts, running forward and punching towards Sapphire's face.*

[Sapphire dodges the blow by dropping to all fours and darting away across the ground, backing up by a few yards. She's not attacking yet.]

*Wow. That was pretty unexpected. Chika figured that she would've tired attack or something. Not dodge like that. She hadn't even seen Ikuto dodge like that in a fight.

Chika moves forward again, this time kicking down at the ground behind Sapphire after running up towards her.*

[Sapphire hears China's footfalls loud and clear, and she uses them to make her attack precise - whipping around and shifting quickly aside, catching China's leg as it comes at her and shoving it away hard in an attempt to unbalance her.]

[scatterflower]

*Wow, Sapphire was really good at this. Chika was barely able to keep herself standing just fine, jumping away from Sapphire a bit and this time waiting for the other girl to make a move.*

[pathofstrength]

[Sapphire pauses for a moment - then, seeing that Chika is giving her the next move, lunging in to swipe at her midsection. She doesn't want to out and punch or kick Chika, but figures that she's strong enough to push her around as a method of attack instead.]

[scatterflower]

*And that moves enough to throw Chika off a bit, actually letting Sapphire nearly knock her to the ground before she regains her footing and charges forward again, this time shooting out with a punch towards Sapphire's face... and then getting ready to follow that up with a kick if the younger girl dodged or blocked it.*

[pathofstrength]

[Blocked, and - fdgffgh ow, the kick connected. Sapphire grits her teeth and retaliates by going for Chika's side with a punch.]

[scatterflower]

*Chika jumped back at that, making sure to keep away from punch.*

You're pretty good at this Sapphire.

*She moves her hands back into a guarding position, waiting for the younger girl to make another move.*

[oog, that kick to the side...okay, it's nothing, she's back up. Back up and grinning a little at that, looking Chika over, figuring out what to do...

....

...what if she just tackled her and whaled on her?...no, the point of this is to learn something. Let's try something new and different.]

This is different than what I'm used ta, but I can get th' hang of it...

[She stands poised on her toes for a moment, tense and ready to spring, then lunges forward, half-mimicking Chika's guard position with her own arms and ready to push away any attacking limbs. If Sapphire can get in close enough, she's aiming to quickly duck around Chika and headbutt her in the back.]

*Chika smiled, looking over at Sapphire.*

Really? What type of fighting were you used to before?

*Chika's still going to try attacking once Sapphire is charging at her, but Sapphire's pretty easily able to block her punches and...

Oh god that headbutt really hurt, and now she was stumbling forward a bit before turning back towards Sapphire.*

I'd be backin' up my team instead a' fightin' the enemy head-on...

[Sapphire backs off a bit, relaxing but still alert.]

Sounds kinda weird when I say it like that.

... What do you mean by team? Other people?

My Pokemon, of 'c...eh, I mean...they don't exist in this world. But they're kinda like these "animals", if animals could do things that humans couldn't!

[scatterflower]

... Pokémon? Could they talk at all?

*Because another world with creatures that ended with 'mon' was pretty weird.*

Not with words. Ah - well, there was Latios, an' he could use telepathy!

[taps side of head to illustrate]

But that ain't common.

Wow. That's pretty weird. Back home there was a world called the Digital World that had creature's called Digimon, but most of them could talk.

[Sapphire's eyebrows raise, and she makes a surprised noise. She takes a few steps to the side, starting to move off of the sparring area and watching Chika to see if she's ready for a break.]

"Digital" - like computers? Some kinda virtual reality thing?

*Chika's ready for a break if Sapphire is, but she's just going to look at the younger girl for a moment.*

From what I understand, yeah. Kinda. No one ever really explained it to me all that well on how it was possible.

Though it wouldn't surprise me if no one really understood it.

[Let's go wander over to the sidelines, then.]

Ya've ever seen one? What was it like?

Yeah! Lots. It was pretty nice.

... Well, except when a few of them went berserk and started blasting the city. That wasn't really all that fun.

Aah, that's awful...wild Pokemon will leave ya alone if ya leave their habitat alone, but there was a guy who made a bunch of Pokemon go out of control...even one can be dangerous.

Yeah. Can't really blame them though. Usually the ones that do that are the ones who were suddenly showing up there, completely scared with no idea of where they were.
