Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. This training log happens January 30th.

FAQ: For any character confusion or questions. Answered enthusiastically by Maito Gai.
Breakfast: Provided by the combined efforts of Cinderella, Katakura Kojuro, Saya Tagaki.
Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.
Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.
Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.
Batch 4: Experienced fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Selendis. Please see list of random sparrers.

Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

Heh. You're the second person to ask me that this week, and I honestly don't know. The blade looks a little like what I could turn my arm into back home...and the gun looks a little like the gun I used to use, too. Maybe BREW decided to put them together.

I can't belive they made ya a weapon ya don't even know how to use. Damn stupid.

Well...I have a vague idea what to do with it, I just don't really understand "why". And I guess as long as my Meister knows what to do it's fine...

Why don't ya try transformin', and I'll see if I can figure it out?

Well....[He pauses, but realizes he doesn't have an answer. Instead, he shrugs.] I guess there isn't a reason why. All right. ...Catch me? [He takes a deep breath, then transforms into his weapon form in a flash of red light.]

[snatching]

[Of course she catches him. Kid looks at him, interested. It doesn't look like any weapon she's ever seen. It doesn't feel like any weapon she's ever seen, either. It's almost pleasant to the touch, maybe even a little warm. It's different than the cold steel of any other blade she's ever held.

Kid points it outward, towards a tree.]

Should I shoot?

[It's a bit odd...Kid wielding him feels different than it does when Takuto's his meister. Trying to resonate with her is less of a roller coaster ride, at the very least.]

Er, sure, as long as it's away from other people! But I think that tree should be fine.

[snatching]

[She has to get a good look at him to figure out what she's doing. Kid's never shot a gun, she doesn't even know anybody with a gun, and she runs with bandits and thieves. Back home, this is state of the art stuff, only the best armies and richest of the rich get guns...]

Ye...eees, sort of. You should probably try to brace the base of my handle with your off hand--the recoil can be a little bad if you aren't careful. And try to take a fighter's stance, with one foot in front of the other. That will give you good balance.

[snatching]

[Kid is, for once, genuinely interested, so she listens, and adjusts her posture accordingly. It's a little stiff and uncomfortable, since her usual fighting stance isn't about balance, it's about being able to move quickly and stay low.]

That's good! You're a quick learner.

Okay, it looks like nobody's near the tree, so now all you have to do is aim at the tree and pull the trigger.

[snatching]

[Okay...she's not so sure what the best way to aim it is, but she shoots. The kick is stronger than she expected, moving her hands back involuntarily. She barely scrapes the side of the tree, but it was fun.]

[Whoa! Chrono feels a bit jostled, but he didn't expect her to do it perfectly the first time.]

Not bad! Try to be careful with the recoil, it'd be bad if the gun flew back and hit you since there's a blade on it. ...I probably should've stressed that point a bit more before you shot. Sorry.

[snatching]

[Yeah...that would be bad. Kid holds it away from her and looks at the blade.]

You probably should've!

I-I'm sorry. I don't use guns too much myself, and the one I had back home was lighter and didn't have that blade on it, so sometimes I forget...

[snatching]

What would ya have done if I cut me skull open?
