Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on July 8th.

[ Eventually Re-l had taken to taking shelter in the shade of some nearby building that had managed to survive the sandstorm, a cooling pack on the back of her neck, and her shoulders a bit red thanks to the beating sun. No amount of sun screen ever seemed to be enough, but water was all she was concerned with, for the moment, after her usual gauntlet of 'training' exercises that she could do by herself.

After her cool off she'll most likely take to going back to work, so catch her quickly! ]

I'm fairly sure he doesn't and the environment makes it that way. [ After all, to her the subject of 'God' was kind of null and void. She'd never been raised with a definitive version of an all powerful figure other than her spying and micro-managing grandfather. ]

I suppose. It doesn't help that the sun seems to mock us the hotter it gets.

I guess I would be amused, too, if I could simultaneously make hundreds of people miserable from heat. [ Though, she'd have to be in that sort of mood. ]

There can't be much more to do, floating like that.

It's constantly winter, in my world. This is a new, but pleasant experience.

Constantly? I like the winter but I do not think I would prefer it all the time.

Yes, sun burn can be a problem if one is not careful.

I'm used to it - this weather is more torturous that having a large, warm jacket and dealing with snow fall. [ Though slipping on the deck of the Rabbit was still pretty bad. ]

Luckily I learned quickly, with that, or else I would look like sea food.

Yes. You know, bright red.. ? [ She takes a moment to fan herself against the heat. ]

No, oceans aren't really.. there, in that way. They're ice. But we had genetically reproduced seafood, for when we wanted it..

I'm fairly sure that I am just from a very far off future. Which is.. most likely.. something very good. [ Considering nuclear war wasn't fun for anyone involved... ]

Well, that's not exactly hard, from where I stand. Living in an apartment is much better than a cramped air ship that much is for sure. Even if I have to deal with desert weather.
