Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.

[ Why is he here in first place? It's not like Matt will actually do any physical training (mostly because he can't - being a chain smoker does that to you).

He needs a partner. Temporary or not. And though he has wandered around the "find a partner support group" area, he eventually leaves to lean against a tree, cigarette between his lips and grabs his DS to start playing ]

[ Why Sollux is there is anyone's guess. He comes to these things occasionally, or at least plans to. (It never happens, nine times out of ten.) An idle desire, maybe, of actually getting in some training. Maybe learning how to run better, fight a little, now that he has no psionics or sylladex to rely on. It's kind of embarrassing.

Easier to just drift around and pretend he's learning something, like now, with how he's gravitating toward Matt and his halo of tar. ]

[ It really isn't.

Matt's eyes move from the screen towards the familiar troll, before they return back to his game - he is incredibly social, can't you tell? However, he does sketch a smile. ]

Hey, 'sup. [ last time they spoken was a week ago, during their mission. Which actually went pretty darn well! Matt didn't get maimed. ]

He looks at Sollux for a moment, though his fingers keep pressing the keys on his DS. ]

I was thinking about joining "Find a partner support group". Our poor souls are desperate. [ he teases ]

Nah, really, I kinda want to level up. Y'know, get more souls. [ and the only way is to find someone willing to partner up and go on a mission ]

Hopefully this isn't just a conversation started and Bakura IS interested in games ] Daxter. Well, at least something similar to that.

[jack had decided to try out this whole training session thing, but within five minutes of being out there it proves to be a terrible idea. waaaay too warm and the sun is way too bright and he gives up on actually training pretty quickly in favor of hiding in the shade.

of course, being a nosy little shit, he can't just quietly sit under the tree and watch, so when someone starts playing a game right there of course he is instantly right over their shoulder watching.]

I only play the good ones. [ this kid (kid? He looks around Matt's age, to be perfectly honest) is a new guest. SOS, right? The thought amuses him enough to pause the game and turn to him ]

[he just shrugs again, stepping back somewhat now that the attention is actually on him.]

Never played it. [never played most games really but to be fair he lives on a frozen lake and doesn't even have shoes.]

It's pretty much the same thing as Daxter. Just with a different name because they have a Death fetish. [ of course it doesn't cross his mind there is a teenager in the world who doesn't play videogames - blasphemy. ]
