Morning Training
Characters: Everyone!
Location: Training Ground, Shibusen
Rating: PG-13 for violence
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on April 24th.
Official areas:
FAQ: In need of help or answers? Come here! Staffed by Tenten and Neji.
Breakfast: The incentive for coming to Morning Training for those who actually don't care about Death City. All food providers are given funds to buy/prepare the food and are then paid for the time they spent cooking/preparing. Provided by Saya and Fabiola
Combat Instruction: One can learn and improve on fighting techniques! Staffed by Cloud and Genesis
Sparring: A bunch of people are there. You show up and pick one to fight. Staffed by Hanabi (beginners), Fabiola (intermediate), Amaterasu and Cloud (advanced), and Overseen by Neji
Weapon Transformation: New Weapon? Unsure on how to transform into a weapon (or how to transform back)? Go here! Staffed by Bakura, Aqua, and Gray
Soul Perception: Find out more about your soul, what they are, and what they potentially may do.
Partner Training: Learn how to work as a partner!
Weapons Handling Training: Learn how to handle sharp things and not so sharp things! Staffed by Tenten and Auron
Shooting Range: Learn to shoot a gun, not at quail though, so expect your face to come out of this just fine. Staffed by Sarah Kerrigan, Naoto, Giroro
Meister Ability Helpers: Learn about your Meister ability and how to use it. Staffed by Edgeworth
Finding a Partner: Unpartnered Weapons and Meisters meet each other here!
Medics: A place for medics to hang out, recruit and aid the injured - especially if they get shot in the face by accident. Staffed by Rosalia and CR-S01
Watch: This is where members of the watch meet up, chill, recruit and train! People interested in the watch welcome!
SEES: This is where SEES members hang out, and recruit!
Hug Brigade: A begrudgingly still opened squad dedicated to hugs of encouragement. Thank Lee for this! Staffed by Lee
Evacuation Briefing/Process: Learn what to do in case the city is invaded. Will most likely come in handy for the future! Staffed by Tenten and Neji
Feel free to make your own threads!

He needs a partner. Temporary or not. And though he has wandered around the "find a partner support group" area, he eventually leaves to lean against a tree, cigarette between his lips and grabs his DS to start playing ]

Are you ever going to stop cooking your aeration sacs?
[ Why Sollux is there is anyone's guess. He comes to these things occasionally, or at least plans to. (It never happens, nine times out of ten.) An idle desire, maybe, of actually getting in some training. Maybe learning how to run better, fight a little, now that he has no psionics or sylladex to rely on. It's kind of embarrassing.
Easier to just drift around and pretend he's learning something, like now, with how he's gravitating toward Matt and his halo of tar. ]

Matt's eyes move from the screen towards the familiar troll, before they return back to his game - he is incredibly social, can't you tell? However, he does sketch a smile. ]
Don't think I will ever be able to.
Hey, 'sup. [ last time they spoken was a week ago, during their mission. Which actually went pretty darn well! Matt didn't get maimed. ]
no subject
Not much. Training. Learning shit.
[ HA. Hahaha. Ha. Oh, what a laugh. Ahem. At least he tries to return the smile, small as it is. Positively tiny, really, but it's there. ]
So, why are you here?
no subject
Yeah. Training!
He looks at Sollux for a moment, though his fingers keep pressing the keys on his DS. ]
I was thinking about joining "Find a partner support group". Our poor souls are desperate. [ he teases ]
Nah, really, I kinda want to level up. Y'know, get more souls. [ and the only way is to find someone willing to partner up and go on a mission ]
no subject
he's doing his very best not to snatch that cigarette away. ]
You'll find a match sometime, I have faith in your sorry glutes.
no subject
And don't snatch his cigarette away. ]
Aha, I might partner up with the wolf. [ he is teasing again. But hey. Maybe it could happen. If a wolf can even use a Portal gun ]
no subject
[ aha, there's the sarcasm of old. ]
no subject
It would be fucking epic, man! Can you imagine it?
[ and he might be joking, but actually... yes, it would be really epic. ]

Which game?
no subject
Hopefully this isn't just a conversation started and Bakura IS interested in games ] Daxter. Well, at least something similar to that.
[ because the name they gave it here is "Deathxter" ]
no subject
Got re-branded here? [[Because everything does.]] And I don't think I've heard of that one... recent game?
no subject
And it's not particularly recent? I mean, it came out in '06.

of course, being a nosy little shit, he can't just quietly sit under the tree and watch, so when someone starts playing a game right there of course he is instantly right over their shoulder watching.]
no subject
Dude- [ he starts, lazily, and finally he looks at him through the yellow lenses of the goggles ]
Too close. [ MATT IS INCREDIBLY SOCIAL ]

Good game?

Deathxter.

Never played it. [never played most games really but to be fair he lives on a frozen lake and doesn't even have shoes.]
no subject
no subject
Never played that either. And can we think of a better phrase than "death fetish"? Seriously, ew.
no subject
What do you want to call it? There is no better way.
