Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Monday, August 30th.

[Lee works up a smile for her, but when he approaches he can see she isn't feeling very well and his lips turn down in a pouty frown.]

... Are you feeling unwell today, Rosalia-san?

[She raises her head a bit and gives a small smile]

Hi, Lee. Sorta... just a little tired really.

[He sits down near her, okay with taking a break for now.]

Breakfast was very good, but you did have to get up early to work on it.

... You do not have to take that job if it wears you out, though. Do not feel obligated.

It's okay. I've gotten used to getting up early. Doctors have weird hours sometimes.

[She giggles lightly] And I have fun cooking for everyone. [And they don't have to worry about getting sick...]

[Lee's smile strengthens. Perhaps she is not as worn-down as he first imagined.]

I am glad you enjoy yourself. It would be a shame if it became too much of a chore.

We all owe yourself and Kanji-kun very much.

They find it weird that Kanji helps, but they do.

Kanji-kun is a man of many talents! Others should not say that is weird.

[He's a good guy, too, despite having a short temper. And freaking out about hugs.]

Okay... [Mind things Lee is not the best at.] Have you spoken with Neji? He could probably assist you in sorting your thoughts.

I know. I've been wanting to ask if he could help me with some sewing.

[Her eyes twinkle a bit at that.]

Mhm, I have. He helped a little. [She looks away] He said that people would be mad and it's going to happen. Still, I wish it didn't.

He made me some very nice plush toys. Neji and I have them displayed in my room.

[They were quite nice.]

Hmm... [Lee frowns, not sure entirely what she's upset about still, but willing to at least work with what she has given him.] Well, you can be the kindest person in the world, and there will still be some people who will hold spite for you because of your kindness.

[It made him think of Akiha, how she was so determined to be mean about his club despite his best intentions.]

Really? That's really kind of him.

[He fixes all the dresses. He's awesome.]

Can they? Hm... So, maybe they would've been happier then if I had been... evil? [She sighs.] I didn't mean for them to get sick.

[Funny thing is, Rose gets along with Akiha.]

I paid for his service, of course! But they are rather nice. I can tell he put a lot of work into them.

[Kanji has all the great skills.]

Well... despite attempting to bring happiness to other people with the Hug Brigade, I still get some people who misread my intentions, and even when I explain to them why I do what I do, they still say it is stupid and useless and foolish and that I am a fool and a lech for it. That is what I meant. Not that you would do better as evil, so much as some people can never be pleased. But you work hard because at least you can bring a little joy to the people who matter the most.

[He knew that if Rosalia had made anyone sick, she would surely not have meant to do so. It was not in her nature as a healer to do or want that.]

That's mean. You don't mean any harm by the hug brigade... though, last time I hugged someone, he really wasn't happy about it.

[Rosalia sighs. She really just wanted everyone to be happy.]

You're right. I'll just... try my best again. [But, now she has to go back to something.] Lee, what's a lech?

[Of course he knew he wasn't trying to hurt anyone with it, but he was constantly being questioned lately... Or maybe that was just because there seemed to be fewer people interested in hugs.]

Sometimes people are not ready for hugs is all...

[And Lee smiled, ready to encourage her again, but the smile withered at the question.]

Oh, um... someone who is lecherous? That is... at it's most basic a, uh... a... [And his voice gets rather small and he turns red] ... a pervert.

He kinda looked like he could use it too. Oh well...

[Rosalia blinked and tilted her head.]

Perhaps he did need it but was afraid to admit it... [Some people had weird pride issues.]

[But oh god, Lee was NOT the kind of person to go to for an explanation of this. He flails, attempting to take her seriously but HOW TO EXPLAIN???]

Um... that is... a person who is... I mean... that....

[Finally, he smacks both his cheeks between his hands, eyes squeezed shut and he releases the best explanation he can come up with as quickly as he can.]

A person who gives unwanted attention to someone else! Usually in the form of s-sexual harassment!

[Rosalia waits for an explanation, but she seems more confused by it. Unwante attention, but sexual harassment? She'll have to read up on that later.]

It... doesn't sound like you're a lech then. [Though, she has no idea.]

I AM NOT! [And Lee doesn't even realize he yelled until after he finished and then his face was in his hands and he was embarrassed.]

I apologize, but it is not a good thing to be called and I do not like people putting labels on me or deciding how I am when they do not know me. So when people say that is what they think I am when I do something with good intentions like the Hug Brigade it...

[Hurts.]

[Her eyes widen a bit at the exclamation, but then, she's frowning.]

... Well, if people keep doing that then... I-I'll just have to keep saying they've got it wrong until they understand! Hugs are great!

Oh, Rosalia-san... [And Lee's face turns up, eyes awash with unshed tears.]

If only there were more understanding and kind people such as yourself!

Ehe, maybe not exactly like me. [She's embarrassed, but she could probably tell Lee.]

The only reason I think I'm like this is because it was only my daddy and me. Death City's been my first time hearing a lot of things. Still, Lee's not a lech.

[Lee blinks away the tears. Getting overly-emotional was a thing with him, but he didn't need to be this way when they were having a serious conversation.]
