Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Monday, August 30th.

[Bakura's not around anymore to cook for L, and Light can't always be bothered to. Therefore, L takes his meals where he can get them, and that means showing up to morning training even though he doesn't feel the need to hone and improve his combat skills. He and Light are having no problem gathering souls, even if they did get kind of a late start compared to a lot of other partnered pairs.

Rather than do the polite and decent thing and sampling small portions from many plates, he simply picks up the entire plate of powdered donuts, shamelessly retreating to a corner to hover over it like a vulture.]

[Count D hadn't wasted much time in acquiring a tea set or visiting the bakeries that had been recommended to him following his inquiry on the network. Dressed in his silk Chinese robe, he looked rather out of place sitting on a picnic blanket near the edge of the training field, a tea cup in hand and a tray full of pastries in front of him.]

[There were a few extra cups and saucers on the blanket and it looked as if he had enough sweets to share. Perhaps, you would like to join him?]

[D didn't relish the thought of being wielded by someone, especially a human, but the incident with Rosalia and the butterflies the night he arrived had left him curious. Would it be possible to summon his other pets in this way? He'd tried transforming again but to his frustration, there hadn't been any smoke from his Weapon form. It appeared that the Meister's energy provided the incense needed to create the animals.]

[He stood along the edges of the area, sticking out like a sore thumb in his elaborate robe.]

[Someone is feeling quite confident today. Being a rather harsh instructor, it might be helpful to take advantage of her good mood. Unless one prefers to wait for another day and get horridly abused by the harshest teacher ever!!

But yes, she is waiting, a pile of practice weapons with her for instruction purposes.]

[Naoto paced and observed her students with sharp and scrutinizing eyes, hands at her side. The cooler temperatures has her dressed up a little more, but definitely ready to coach.]

Take into account the wind and distance. Aiming at the center will not guarantee a bullseye.

[The sign reads 'No First Aid Class today' despite Rosalia being present. She was sitting further back since she arrived from serving breakfast, head down against the table. Anyone who comes over injured is seen to. Anyone who wants to talk to her, she'll do her best.]

[ Guess who happens to be in this area this morning? Something had to be done given that, in her absence, Ghoulia had become a partnerless weapon. Surely there was someone willing to take up a chainsaw and cleave down enemy after enemy. The real question was would they be willing to stand being partnered with a zombie whose intelligence could run laps around her physical capability. ]

[ Which was why she actually looked rather out of place. A zombie, standing around and occasionally looking over a piece of paper attached to a clipboard. And no, it wasn't a list of possible brains she could eat. ]

[He knows what happened during the attack, nearly suffered it himself, saw her network apology and decided not to say anything. But it's now, watching her hair fall over her and neglecting her usual class that he decide to approach, settles in next to her with a hum]

Are you still blaming yourself, Rosalia-san?

[If you have a question, you may need to speak up. Neji's not breaking for much today, apparently determined to go through absolutely every stretch in the book. But rest assured, he's still very aware and won't ignore anyone that approaches]

[Neji's been looking much better in the past few days, and it shows in the way he spends less time than usual here. It's a comparatively cool morning for the desert, after all. He's been at the office for a few days now, and just recently returned to patrols, all in all fully active for the Watch again.

But there's a fair bit he's missed and still catching up on, so if there's anything anyone needs or wants to bring up, now's the best time]
