Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Monday, August 30th.

[Angeal, while a few months new to the city, had not really done much in the way of learning how things worked. It was though the fault of his own of course, caught up in things of the past before trying to make best of the future here. But with both of his friends now doing better and his mind clear, he knows he cannot do simply nothing while something like a war goes on.

Approaching the section dedicated to weapons, he feels a little out of place in needing training, always the one before to mentor others in how things worked. But he knows with how different things are here everyone is new at one time or another, and so he looks around for the woman in charge to greet and introduce himself to, or anyone else who might also be there.]

[ Sasuke had spent some time here, long ago when he'd first arrived in Death City. changing into the weapon form hadn't been difficult for him— the process was relatively similar to recognizing the flow of Chakra in one's body.

he notices Angeal loitering, and after not spotting the woman who would normally be there, he sheathes his katana and makes his way over. ]

[mentors]

[Angeal nods as the other approaches, giving the other an easy smile. He knows how things can be when one considers that this place was technically a warzone, especially after what had recently happened.]

Looks like I came in on the wrong day, hm? [He greets the other man, but does not seem bothered by it. He could always have Genesis help him later, perhaps.]

[ Sasuke shakes his head. ]

With the number of partners we have, it isn't unusual for someone to be on a mission.

[ his hand settles on the hilt of his katana, though the gesture isn't threatening so much as relaxed. the black of his eyes walk the length of the other man's body, clearly sizing him up, though to what end is difficult to say. ]

We haven't met.

No problem I understand!

[mentors]

I thought as much, after what happened recently.

[Sasuke might be smaller than his own self but he certainly carried himself like he knew what he was doing. Never one to underestimate, Angeal simply does the same in a quick once over, but then moves on from there. This was a training ground, after all.]

Angeal Hewley. [He gives his name to the other, relaxed.] I have not been here very long, just about two weeks.

[sharingan]

[ this explained why he was in this particular area of the training field. though Sasuke hadn't been back for very long in the grand scheme of things, it didn't escape his attention that those looking for partners or seeking how to change forms was frighteningly sparse.

it didn't bode well, but Sasuke wasn't the kind of person to give up. if he had to win this war himself, he would do so.

he lifts his chin. ]

You know you're a Weapon at least. Have you had any lucky transforming?

[mentors]

[Angeal shakes his head at that question, seeing no reason not to admit such. It was different after all, than just trying to use materia; Trying to put himself in another state has proven to be quite difficult.]

I can feel it, if that makes sense? Like 'getting it' is just right out of my reach. I came by to see if anybody had some sort of tips or technique to go by. [It's probably one of those things that is different for everyone, but there had to be a common point, right?]

[ Sasuke's hand fall from the perch they'd made on his sword, leaving them both hanging loose at his sides. he was able to change quickly, once he realized how to do it— but Sasuke had always been lauded as a genius, boring to teach for how quickly he caught on. ]

Do you meditate?

[ he steps forward, passing Angeal to move further out of the way of passerbys. he pulls his sword from where it rests at his hip and, in one graceful movement, sits down cross-legged in the grass with the katana laid out at his side. ]

I have not done so in a long time, actually.

[He follows the other with his eyes before he turns, moving to sit across from Sasuke. It is almost strange, without the weight of his sword on his back. Seeing the other with his own makes him almost wish for it.]

It's simpler if you know how.

[ Sasuke's fingers curl in on themselves, hands coming together in his lap. the dark of his eyes watch Angeal until the other man as taken a seat next to him. ]

Where I'm from, we have transformation jutsu, which isn't very different from this. Finding and controlling your chakra is the key to unlocking the change. Meditating makes this easier.

[ he's quiet for a moment; this would make sense to another shinobi, but Angeal clearly is not a ninja. ]

Your Weapon is part of you. You'll find it if you look inward.

[mentors]

Hmm.

[He hums thoughtfully before closing his eyes, taking long, deep breaths to relax himself. Look inward, huh? The last few months before coming here that was the last thing he had wanted to do, but with his current stat- Not degrading, none of those terrible thoughts creeping up in his mind, he can fall back into it after a little bit of time.]

And what do you do when you find it? Embrace it, force it out? [ This isn't like materia, but perhaps he can feel something. Following after it was the only way to go, and asking questions can only make the process make more sense.]

[sharingan]

Use it.

[ because Sasuke wouldn't describe it the way Angeal just had. there's nothing to embrace because it isn't precisely foreign— strange, maybe, for those who had no concept of this kind of power, but not foreign. however BERW introduces it into their system doesn't make it something notably separate. ]

Bring it forward.

[ this has become second nature for Sasuke, and so demonstrating it both hands in his lap collapse into stretches of black fabric. ]

[He watches with interest as Sasuke, for lack for a better word, transforms. It is quite something, and he can't quite help but watch curiously for a few moments before reigning himself back in, starting back over in his meditation.

Bring it forward, he said. It makes sense, like all Angeal has to do is to put his hands on it. The man centers himself to find that place inside him again and after takes several minutes to meditate.

His form is easy to find, once it does come to him. The Buster Sword was given to him when he was young and had been part of his life ever sense. The sword is as tall as him and wider than the span of a man's hand, and just as impressive as it has ever been when he finally does make that change, with a little more help from Sasuke.
