EVENT: The Great BREW Malfunction Pt II [OPEN]

Characters: Everyone and anyone
Location: Anywhere in Death City!
Rating: PG-13
Time: July 16 to July 18th
Description: And then it gets worse.

By now, no one is popping in and out of existence, but that's hardly any consolation when odd things keep happening.

At first it's not that bad. An innocuous item or two shows up. Something harmless wanders around that you're sure has never been in Death City before.

By the second day, bigger and more dangerous things start showing up and by the third...

Well.

As long as you don't mind the giant pieces of debris or creatures blocking the road or the sky, it's not that bad, right?

((OOC: List of canon items and creatures arriving can be found here. Remember, the list only tells you where they initially show up. They'll probably move on soon enough to a new location.

Remember to put Character | Location | OPEN/CLOSED in your subject!))

Hamel knows that look. He knows that look because everyone gives it to him. So it looks pretty normal to him.

"You want me to put you in danger?" Hamel can do that. Hamel can do that and piss five people off in the process. Or he could just hit him or something. Did that make people turn into weapons? Or was that not life threatening enough.

"Absolutely not." Wonder of wonders, Shinji's tone was actually very firm on the matter. That's awfully unusual for the typically flaky and easily pushed around teen.

"Besides, if it's giving me this much trouble at all, there has to be something bigger wrong." It made enough sense to him, at least, he'd never had a problem with transforming after getting the hang of it. Maybe Hamel just didn't understand, since he didn't have the same role, he thought.

Well, when did Shinji get a backbone. It doesn't actually give Hamel much pause but he does notice it. "Don't say I didn't try to help, man. What kind of weapon were you anyway? Maybe I could make something for you. I'm pretty good at that shit. It wouldn't cost you too much." It always costs too much when Hamel's involved unless he really really wants someone to wear his stuff.
hedgehogsdilemma: (The thought is appalling)

The display of resolve is only really kind of impressive when in context, any normal person wouldn't hesitate to protect themselves from danger. Jeez, Shinji.

"A... knife." He's not sure where Hamel was trying to take this. Make him... a spare weapon? That didn't sound all that appealing, honestly. "I-it's fine, though, don't worry that much about it. It's... probably not a permanent thing."

Jesus, no one was anything fucking useful. Except that goggle guy, he'd been useful. "You better fucking hope it isn't permanent. Or you're stuck here with all those fucked up egg bastards and no way to defend yourself. Which I gotta say, sucks monkey balls man." Hamel was not used to being unable to destroy the things that came after him.

((Whatdya say we have something attack, or a tree fall or something to make him change for you?))
