Description: And then it gets worse.



By now, no one is popping in and out of existence, but that's hardly any consolation when odd things keep happening.

At first it's not that bad. An innocuous item or two shows up. Something harmless wanders around that you're sure has never been in Death City before.

By the second day, bigger and more dangerous things start showing up and by the third...

Well.

As long as you don't mind the giant pieces of debris or creatures blocking the road or the sky, it's not that bad, right?

[Great. Just what the city needed! An ice demon on the loose! She reached for the protective medicine bundle tied at her waist and gave it a rub.] But no one has gotten hurt, right? [That was a tad more important at the moment than a few damaged arcade games!] Do you know how to exorcise it or something?

No, no one has gotten hurt. It seems to be more focused on messing around and exploring than anything else. [A pause, and then a chuckle.] Hah, well, we never really "exorcised" these kinds of demons. We mostly just defeat them in combat. It's a lot easier when you have fire magic.

[It sounds more like what they do with the kishin eggs here. She sighs, thinking that it might have helped if BREW hadn't flipped things around. Then, she still would have been able to wield Lezard and use his fire spells.]

Fire magic, huh? I don't think we're going to find someone like that right now. Is there another way to beat it? Even if it's mostly causing mischief, I reckon it's not good to just let it run around like this. [She hops to the side, out of the way of the Jack Frost.]

Hmm. Well, there's always just defeating it in normal combat. Fire isn't always necessary if you can brute-force it out. Remind me- are you a Weapon or a Meister? Or did that weird thing that happened screw you up, too?

[Another sigh, this one a bit frustrated.] I'm supposed to be a Meister but got turned into a Weapon a few days ago. Did you get changed too? You're normally a Meister, right?
