By now, no one is popping in and out of existence, but that's hardly any consolation when odd things keep happening.

At first it's not that bad. An innocuous item or two shows up. Something harmless wanders around that you're sure has never been in Death City before.

By the second day, bigger and more dangerous things start showing up and by the third...

Well.

As long as you don't mind the giant pieces of debris or creatures blocking the road or the sky, it's not that bad, right?

It's a device we use to travel in the air. It's a round board with two stick controls.

[And the monkey seems to be answering her with similar sounds.]

[And she finds it weird that he thinks it's normal.]

Yeah, and it says it's home is Monkey Island. Which has to mean it is from my world!

Maybe where you come from, but it's pretty common in space.

That's normal to you? It sounds freaky to me.

[She crosses her arms and looks over at the monkey.]

How would I know? Guybrush's hand showed up yesterday too and the last time I saw that thing back home was when I handed it over to the Marquis de Singe.

...I see. What did you do with it? [You didn't just leave it outside, did you? Because even Giroro thinks that's kind of gross. (He doesn't know yet that it moves.)]

Nothing because it keeps knocking me over and running away. But I would like to track it down and skewer it!

[Yeah, she's kind of fed up with getting knocked into Weapon form every time that thing sneaks up on her. And speaking of sneaking up, there's a green-tinged hand turning the corner and scurrying down the sidewalk towards them.]

.....you make it sound like it was moving.

That's because it was.

[Giroro might notice the hand is moving closer, slowing down and doing the equivalent of tiptoeing now as it tries to sneak up on Morgan from behind.]

[Uh.

Honestly, Giroro had written off the green moving thing as an animal at first and barely paid it any mind, but when it got closer he could see it was...a hand?

Giroro stared.]

Th-that's not because it's haunted, right?

[pirateninja]

No. It was infected with a voodoo pox.

[And it's coming closer and closer... Just a few more feet...]

[this_is_keron]

[Oh. And suddenly Giroro looks more at ease and he clears his throat.]

I see. [Then more quietly, in case the hand could hear in case she wanted to allow it to get within arms' reach first.] It's actually trying to sneak up on you.

[pirateninja]

[She draws her cutlass and is going to whirl around to try to stab that pesky hand but the hand's too quick. It jumps up in the air and slaps her across the back, sending the sword clattering to the ground along with a transformed Morgan.]

Uuugff!

[There's now a glass with a picture of a volcano on the side rolling on the ground and spilling glowing red liquid onto the sidewalk.]
