[OPEN] Bouncing Back
Characters: Open to the kidnapping victims, their visitors, and medics.
Location: Death City Clinic
Rating: Varies
Time: June 17th and 18th (if extra time is needed), all day
Description: After a return to Death City and resulting brief surgery to remove the amplification chips, patients are now under observation for the safety of themselves and others as they recover from the ordeal. Visit a friend!
It began with a sigh of relief when the chips were discovered late last night. Nurses and doctors moved briskly down the halls, sedating the maddened and prepping them for an easy surgery. One by one the foul chips are removed, contained for further analysis while their 'hosts' take their first real rest after a whirlwind day spent out alone with their own crazed minds.
By the morning of the 17th, the surgeons anesthesiologists are exhausted, wearily taking their time in the break rooms of the clinic to recover from a very long night of sedations and incisions, but after another examination, they were pleased to announce everyone was clean.
But the environment is tense. Most, if not all of those who were brought back had done unspeakable acts and are ordered to remain under observation just in case. Visiting hours arrives just after Morning Training lets out, allowing patients to see their friends and partners. But take note- each room is accompanied by a Shibusen agent keeping their eyes and ears open in case of trouble, but they won't disturb your visit or conversation so long as you keep things civil.

He keeps trying to escape his bed, but of course neither the doctors nor officials will even let him out of his room, and he's already pushing his body to begin with when he does so. So in the end there's nothing left to do to lie in bed with his own thoughts, even when there's so many things he has to do - he should be checking up on Minako already, especially on her since she's supposed to be his responsibility, he should make sure to apologize to Kanaya and.. had she been with others? He doesn't even remember. Everything is like a blur by now, a sickening nightmare where he had been unable to control himself, little more than some wild animal.
The way his hair is only halfway left in his usual pompadour, half of it just hanging down, seems to reflect his mood pretty well as he sulks into the blankets. ]

Those especially observant that had paid attention in the hallway might note that the wall Akiha leaned against was shared with the room her partner was being kept in.
She didn't look up at the sound of someone entering her room, and it sounded like she was having some trouble breathing.]

Since they won't let him leave just yet (it seems that Judai has gotten himself hurt on top of everything), Haou has no choice but to stalk the hallways of the hospital, an ominous, silent presence looking for anyone who might be willing to join his army, take over his new world, and find a way to get him back to his own.]

Doc Holiday | OPEN
[She had asked after Six several times--his condition, where he was--only to be ignored or to get vague answers. Once the drugs had worn off, she had begun to wonder if they weren't telling her any information about him in order to keep her from delving into more shock. The effects of the things she had done and the things she had merely thought about doing were enough to make her want to crawl away forever.]
[Out of fear of going insane, or maybe just out of fear of facing something she didn't want to face, Holiday had stopped asking about Six. Maybe he was fine, just like her, as fine as that was. As far as anything else was concerned, such as her victims or the Meisters and Weapons from Death City she had faced, Holiday hadn't asked about that either. Her first priority had been Six and since she had decided to not venture into that sort of knowledge, she had subsequently decided to not venture into any of it.]
[Which was why she was here, staring down at her open palms. Her guard wasn't great for conversation, so the room had stayed quiet with only her raging thoughts to keep her company.]
[Holiday wondered not for the first time since she awoke if all of the Madness was really gone.]

No, she's just sitting up on the bed and watching the wall. The only thing going throw her mind is how to prevent what happened from happening again. That meant a cure, which was now back to being her first priority.
Feel free to burst in on her. It's not like she can't pause her thought process.]

Is still mortified at own weakness, even though only Meenah knows full extent of it. Wants to thank everyone who helped, but isn't sure can face them. Especially SS.
Clinic staff keeps their distance, thankfully, checking on him as necessary, but mostly leaving alone. He stays in recovery block, torn between pacing and staring at walls. Neither helps restless, sick, worried feeling, worry with nothing rational to attach to. Absence of powers and ship hurts again, like ache of phantom limb.
Psii really hates this.]

Instead, she's left to her own thoughts about what a disaster this mission was. Her first one, and it ended in her attacking people who were just trying to help, like she was some crazy monster. For all intents and purposes, she was a crazy monster then. She needed to find those people, apologize for how awful she had been, and Josuke too for being such a subpar meister... So much for being a great field leader, huh? She couldn't even get out of a bad spot without it turning into a disaster apparently.
She has her evoker in her lap, tracing the steel like it's a precious gift. It's strange that she could miss her Personas, an ability that used to be so strange but was now just another part of her, but she never imagined that she would get them back like that--in state where she was so mad she'd attack anything in sight. If that's what it took, she didn't want her powers here.
Though it probably wouldn't look good to anyone, a sad-looking girl with a gun-like object in her lap.]

It was the opus of death to one who had already experienced it, where there was nothing to distract him from his own terrible thoughts.
He had barely been there for twenty four hours when he had decided it was enough and resolved to leave. Once the madness emitter had been removed, it was easier to wander the site under the pretense of getting some fresh air. A quick survey of the room reveal his belongings in a drawer and he escaped to the bathroom to change, donning what could be hidden beneath the unsightly gown.
From there all he had to do was wait for another crisis, a distraction to mask his departure. He slipped quietly around the attendants heading past them in the opposite direction and was almost to the lobby, only had to round one more corner when...
“Ugh... Watch it!”
He crashed right into an unexpected visitor, scattering his affects and landing him on the linoleum floor.

Sure, he could attempt escape, or maybe thank Hyoubu and Yako who risked life and limb to bring him back. However, he knew there was no way for someone hobbling around on a crutch to attempt escape and thanking anyone was out of the question.
With all other means of amusement exhausted (you could only torment the Shibusen agent so much, after all) he was simply sitting in bed, a frown on his face as he tries staring a hole through the door.]

He was certainly in far better shape than some of the others had been, that's for certain! No particularly threatening injuries, no unspeakable atrocities were committed out of his madness induced state, and he was in overall decent shape once the chip had been removed.
But he was tired. And he wanted nothing more than to just go find Judai and be with his friend, who he wasn't even sure would be a desirable person to be around just yet. He had expended more energy than he had looking for the boy in Bolivia, though, that the fact that they had once again been separated was painful. He had half a mind to just get up out of the room and find him, but just the thought was exhausting, and he wasn't even sure he could summon the energy to even get out of the bed just yet. For now, he's stuck, and sadly having a lot of trouble simply staying awake for very long.]
