[OPEN] Bouncing Back
Characters: Open to the kidnapping victims, their visitors, and medics.
Location: Death City Clinic
Rating: Varies
Time: June 17th and 18th (if extra time is needed), all day
Description: After a return to Death City and resulting brief surgery to remove the amplification chips, patients are now under observation for the safety of themselves and others as they recover from the ordeal. Visit a friend!
It began with a sigh of relief when the chips were discovered late last night. Nurses and doctors moved briskly down the halls, sedating the maddened and prepping them for an easy surgery. One by one the foul chips are removed, contained for further analysis while their 'hosts' take their first real rest after a whirlwind day spent out alone with their own crazed minds.
By the morning of the 17th, the surgeons anesthesiologists are exhausted, wearily taking their time in the break rooms of the clinic to recover from a very long night of sedations and incisions, but after another examination, they were pleased to announce everyone was clean.
But the environment is tense. Most, if not all of those who were brought back had done unspeakable acts and are ordered to remain under observation just in case. Visiting hours arrives just after Morning Training lets out, allowing patients to see their friends and partners. But take note- each room is accompanied by a Shibusen agent keeping their eyes and ears open in case of trouble, but they won't disturb your visit or conversation so long as you keep things civil.
[ooc: Remember to tag yourselves in!]

|D I have no idea what Yuugi is getting himself into here, jsyk
They said they'd be keeping everyone for a little while, for observation.
it's okay. ;w; At least it's not as bad as it could be.
I don't need observation. I need to find help.
[Wow, Haou, you're full of words. So many of them.]
THAT'S... GOOD...?
What's wrong? What do you need?
no subject
...these people don't know what they're doing. They need to be overthrown. I need help in doing that.
no subject
Judai-san... Are you sure you're okay?
[[By this point Yuugi is sure that he is not okay, or at the very least not himself, so the answer to the question doesn't really matter. He's just stalling for time, hoping one of the doctors might show up soon because he's not sure how to get this strange Judai back to his room otherwise--though if push comes to shove he will figure something out.]]
no subject
I'm sure.
[He answers bluntly, looking away from Yugi, his attention not longer held by him.]
...you can leave now. I'm done with you.
no subject
I'm not going anywhere. What's wrong? [[And then, kind of desperate--]] It's me, Yuugi.
[[You know...? You have kind of a duelist crush on him? He's okay with less fanboying but this is not what he wanted.]]
no subject
It doesn't matter who you are. You have no right to touch me. How do you even have the courage to?
[There's a hint of frustration in his voice there, because ugh! Not having his powers SUCKS.]
no subject
He takes a step back, in a move that could be considered deferential if Haou wants to take it that way.]
Sorry. I thought you were someone else... But now I realize we haven't met before.
[How can Judai not be Judai now, is what Yuugi doesn't understand. The chips were removed, so all of the powers from their world should be gone... And yet somehow this other person or personality is controlling his friend's body? Or at least that's how it seems.]
no subject
[Except now Haou is looking at Yugi a little more closely and with an actual hint of interest.]
But you have met me, in some form. Hm. I'm not that person anymore. You can just forget about him.
no subject
[Yuugi doesn't make a move forward but he does stand his ground, and there's a slight edge to his voice that wasn't present before.]
Who are you?
no subject
I am the Supreme King.
no subject
And where's Juudai-san?
no subject
[The words don't quite cover how it works, but Haou supposes that's good enough.]
I hope you won't get to see him ever again.
