Description: After a return to Death City and resulting brief surgery to remove the amplification chips, patients are now under observation for the safety of themselves and others as they recover from the ordeal. Visit a friend!



It began with a sigh of relief when the chips were discovered late last night. Nurses and doctors moved briskly down the halls, sedating the maddened and prepping them for an easy surgery. One by one the foul chips are removed, contained for further analysis while their 'hosts' take their first real rest after a whirlwind day spent out alone with their own crazed minds.

By the morning of the 17th, the surgeons anesthesiologists are exhausted, wearily taking their time in the break rooms of the clinic to recover from a very long night of sedations and incisions, but after another examination, they were pleased to announce everyone was clean.

But the environment is tense. Most, if not all of those who were brought back had done unspeakable acts and are ordered to remain under observation just in case. Visiting hours arrives just after Morning Training lets out, allowing patients to see their friends and partners. But take note- each room is accompanied by a Shibusen agent keeping their eyes and ears open in case of trouble, but they won't disturb your visit or conversation so long as you keep things civil.

[Psii was right on the dot about that, and she of course would agree, but she could understand how frustrating that could be.]

Would you like me to get in contact with him? I'm sure he'll be here soon, doubtless, but he might not know visiting hours are open yet.

[Di nodded, and quickly took out her communicator and send Signless a text. Hopefully he'd come as soon as he was able to.]

There we go. I'm certain he'll come when it's best. [With that done she returned her gaze to Psii]

How are they treating you here? Did they say how it all went, when you'd be able to leave? [Di wouldn't be able to stay in bed for too long herself]

Should be able to leave tomorrow. Chip has been removed-- [He touches the scar it left behind.] --and there shouldn't be any lingering effects. Humans here are perfectly nice. Think scared them slightly when first arrived.

[No lingering affects. Good. That was what Di had been most concerned about.]

I imagine that they were probably startled by a lot of the people who came in. [She lay a hand gently over his, continuing to try and communicate that message that he shouldn't blame himself for anything.]

I'm just glad they had the ability to undo what had been done. To hear that the Witches have such technology is disturbing...and makes me wonder just what else they have.

Think they weren't prepared for mage in no mood to be touched.

Also worry about what else Witches might be planning. Am sure they know Madness is powerful weapon.

Di had read of it and thought as much. Now having seen it's effects, she knew so. Psii might be moody, but she knew he would never hurt an innocent person. To bring him to such actions it must be very powerful indeed. His mention of the Witches, however, did remind her of something she had wondered for a long time]
