Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 4th.

It depends where you are. You could equate it to a host club, but more focused on the cute appeal as opposed to sex appeal. A time out of your day to be treated as nobility in a private establishment, playing games and being served from a cafe menu.

Spirit's one of the Deathscythes here. Dunno why his parents decided to name him that, but considering what the city looks like, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Yes, his whole name is Spirit Albarn. He would be Maka-san's father.

[She turned to Kanji and nodded]

Um, no. Jarod had its share of hunting enthusiasts but those things make me nervous. [Besides, she hadn't needed any such weapons back home with her magic.]

...Oh yeah- there's some new stock someone donated; it all checked out fine to me n' the rest but since you're back I could have a real pro take a look n' see what can be washed n' sold. Some'a the stuff there's pretty cute. [A brief smile. He said 'cute'. Ain't no thang.]

[She turned to Kanji when he said 'cute', glad to see he was smiling. He really was able to open up better here.]

Sure. I should go check on a few more things around here, too.

And I'll take a look when I get to the shop. [The clothes were likely in decent condition if Kanji already went over them but it'd be best to check for any untoward vibrations, just in case. Some garments could be imbued with such negative emotions that they weren't fit to be sold even if they were in great condition.]
