Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 4th.

Um, nevermind. Just forget I said anything... [No need to drag her into this and hopefully, she wouldn't mention this to Lezard...]

[She blinks. How does she ask her about her favorite colors and such?]

W-Wait! Before you leave, I have a question!

A question? About what?

Nothing big really since it's for fun. I've been asking everyone stopping by the table today if they don't mind answering. What's your favorite color?

[vintage_magic]

My favorite color? [And she thinks of her vintage Mustang convertible back home.] Well, I like red. Purple, too. But why did you want to know?

[bloodinbloom]

Red and purple? You can have two?

[She considers this] It's a way of getting to know people. Dad always said ask small questions that weren't too personal if you want to know someone better.

Oh. So, you want to know the folks here better? And there's a lot of colors I like although I guess my closet has more blues—turquoise and aqua—than reds or purples.

[bloodinbloom]

Yeah! I want to make lots of friends!

[Seventeen and such a childish enthusiasm] Well, you don't have to wear your favorite colors to be your favorite colors. Red might go better with summer though and purple and red might be good in fall.

[Lily couldn't help a smile at her enthusiasm.]

That's true. Purple's the color of the van I had for my shop back home. And my regular car was red.

You can drive?

[Rosalia is in awe.]

[She nods.] I was probably even younger than you when I learned. I grew up in a small town in Texas and if you wanted to get anywhere out of walking distance, you had to drive. But I guess it's not very useful with the way the streets are here.

[bloodinbloom]

Yeah. You can walk to everything here really, but I do see some people on motorcycles.

Can't say that I know anything about those. Except knowing a guy who had one back home.

[bloodinbloom]

I don't know either. They look like fun, but dangerous too.

[vintage_magic]

[A nod.] You should wear a helmet if you ever ride on one of those.

[bloodinbloom]

Like riding a bike.

[She goes quiet for a moment] ... Do you know how to ride a bike?

[vintage_magic]

A bike? [She shakes her head.] I never did learn how.

[bloodinbloom]

Oh... [She glances around before whispering] I thought I might be the only one. It seems like lots of people know.

[vintage_magic]

It's probably not everybody. [She couldn't really picture Lezard on a bicycle...] I reckon some folks came from places where they hadn't been invented yet.
