Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 4th.

[The more Karina focuses on that link between her and Rosalia, the more she could somehow sense her... were those... emotions?]

This feels really strange... but it's amazing. It's like I can sense you smiling at me.

It's a little strange at first, but this is resonance! You can sense bits and pieces about your partner and the better your partnership, the more you can uncover and the stronger you become. At least, that's how it's supposed to be. I know a pair have mastered Resonance Attacks for being so deeply connected.

I see... this is really fascinating. Alright... um... I guess I should try to see what I can do with you.

[ooc: Quick question! Does Rosalia have her sights on partnering with a particular someone yet?]

Sure. Are you a hand to hand fighter or do you use a weapon?

[OOC: Kinda have plans with Di, but we'll see considering electronic problems.]

Actually, I'm more handy with a gun, but I can manage hand-to-hand combat.

[OOC: Alright o/ Anyway, Karina's torn between working more with Rosalia or Matt, but I suppose since she's more handy with guns, she might try working with him first for the upcoming event O: ]

Okay. There are plenty of gun-kind Weapons and hand-to-hand Weapons.

[OOC: Sounds good. There's always temporary partnerships too.]

Well... hm... if it's anything, I'm a lot better at kicking than punching.

I can wrap around your leg instead.

Alright. Let's try that.

[She kneels down, and is about to remove Rosalia from her arm until she remembers.]

Should I move you?

[bloodinbloom]

No, I can do it. Just put me closer to your leg.

[gonext]

Okay.

[Still really amazed by this whole person-weapon thing, Karina does as Rosalia tells her to do.]

[bloodinbloom]

[Close enough for her. She smiles and unties herself. It's almost like a snake, but she really tries not to look like that as she moves from arm to leg, wrapping around, and tying into a bow again.]

[gonext]

[Well, Karina is aware enough that Rosalia is a ribbon, and she watches her with all fascination. Once she's secured, Karina stretches out her legs, as if warming up for some test kicks.]

You know... I think you look really pretty around my ankle like that.

[It was a really funny thing to think, but Karina did like the look of that ribbon there. It was a little silly since she was wearing sneakers at the moment, but she could totally imagine fighting crime with a pretty outfit and that pretty ribbon around her ankle.

... okay, no matter how tough Karina tries to be, at the end of the day she is totally a girly girl.]

Really?

[Rosalia is surprised to hear that. Then again, not too many people she had resonated with were very fashion conscious... or girly in that sense.]

Totally!

[Karina chuckles aloud, really amused by her own thoughts.]

It kind of inspires me to dress up for a fight. It's a little funny, but it's true! It would be really cool, I think.

[Then again, dressing up to fight crime was basically what she did back home, too.]

[bloodinbloom]

Like a superhero? Hehe, well, we kinda are like superheros.

[The idea seems to make her enthralled. She's a superhero...!]

[gonext]

Yeah...

[And Karina couldn't help but blush because that was exactly what she was back home.]

Are there any superheroes you look up to?

[bloodinbloom]

Hm... Well, not really. I mean, I didn't get to read too much about superheroes.

[gonext]

I see... well... partners here go out on missions, right? Maybe we can go on one sometime and we can be like a superhero team!

[Feeling pretty amped up with their talk, Karina makes her way over to a dummy to try working with Rosalia. She gives the dummy a firm roundhouse kick followed by a more powerful spin kick.]

[bloodinbloom]

Sure! I haven't been on too many missions outside of the big ones!

[Rosalia herself doesn't seem to have much effect on the wood until Karina pauses to look. Flower-shaped discoloration marks had appeared where the Weapon touched.]

[gonext]

Alright. That's settled. Once I've got a bit of free time from my job, we can go out together.

[After communicating that to Rosalia, Karina notices the discolorations left on where the Weapon touched.]

Ah... is this your ability?

[bloodinbloom]

Okay!

[She really doesn't get out that often. Glancing at the tree, she nods]

Sort of. It only does that to plants.

[But now the tree should probably be burned.]

[gonext]

I see... what is it?

[She's pretty curious and almost tries to touch the mark. Rosalia told her that she damages when she comes into contact with something, but she didn't say how exactly she creates damage.]

[bloodinbloom]

It's a virus so... it causes internal damage and grows faster the more I hit.

[gonext]

Ah...

[Karina pulls her hand away from that mark, then.]

That should be really interesting to see when we're up against the real thing.
