Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 4th.

At the simple mention of proposal, Condesce actually takes a serious stance. She has been talking ghetto-like, but when discussing business, she can be quite serious. ]

Very well, Miss Akiha - or is it Miss Tohno? [ human surnames are so dumb at times. ] Either way, how can I help you?

Tohno is my family name. The latter would be correct.

[With the Empress culling some of her apparent need to talk like she belonged in a poor section of inner LA, Akiha was glad she wasn't going to have to spend half of this conversation trying to recall her American slang to understand the troll.]

I have recently acquired ownership of the Diner in the Second Outer Residential Quarter. I'm in the process of updating its menu and image to reintroduce the Diner to the residents of Death City. Having tasted your confections at a few of the other business and seeing their popularity, I would like to bring Betty Crocker Bakery products into my restaurant.

But unlike other places your cakes are found at, I would like to offer my clientele something... exclusive.

[And she paused there to give the Condesce the opportunity to speak without interrupting her.]

[It's not that Condesce has double personality. She just makes an effort when it comes to charm business partners - if it gets too much of an hassle, she ends up going ghetto on everyone's face without bothering.

At least she is attempting to sound as professional as she actually is. ]

I understand completely. Do you have anything specific in mind, miss Tohno?

[So far, so good. Akiha has dealt with some real cutthroat business partners in the past before, but none of them she had to worry about being literal in the cutthroat aspect. She doesn't know much about trolls other than what she's observed and the conversations she's had with Mindfang.

And the most she's learned about the Condesce is that she's the ruler, extremely dangerous and apparently psychotic (according to those young trolls). Regardless, she was the top of the troll food chain and handled with concealed caution. Much like she used to deal with her own father when he still lived.]

I would like to place on my menu a specific set of Betty Crocker products that will not be available anywhere else in Death City. Aside from special orders directly from your bakery, of course.

[That way, customers would choose to come to the Diner to get them instead of just stopping at one of the other businesses offering the cakes.]

[ Why yes indeed. Condesce IS a crazy psycho and she usually doesn't hide it. But money. Oh, she loves money. ]

That's feasible, but you understand by making an exclusive menu for your diner I would have to require proper payment. [ more than what Hikan Café is paying her, since she pretty much provides them whatever she wants and she pleases and doesn't have a menu to follow. ]

Of course. If exclusivity was cheap, everyone would have it. And I don't like having something commonly found around that anyone could take advantage of. I expect the best in all things I invest in and research has proven that your confections are the best Death City has to offer. I wish to pass that onto my clientele to increase my own profits, therefore increasing your own.

[And there would be the rich, upper-class bitch peeking through her business veneer.]

I can easily put together a contract this week.

Indeed, they are. Each cake is only created with the best ingredients and the best combinations of flavors. I can assure you, quality pastry and cakes like mine can't be found so easily.

[ cocky? You bet. She has plenty reasons to be, after all. ]

A contract would be most appreciated. I will provide you with a proper menu and samples, so you can decide which cakes to accept into your business.

[Akiha likes cocky as a business attitude if there is backing to the words. So far there is.]

A contract is necessary to protect us both from legal ramifications in this endeavor. You are free to negotiate anything you dislike in the contract until we come to a consensus. I don't expect there to be a need for it as I have quite a bit of experience writing them unless business is handled very differently on Alternia than on Earth.

[She offered the briefest of smiles.]

I'm familiar with Earth regulation regarding contracts, seeing I have a couple with other companies. We may discuss it and decide what we believe to be best for each other.

[ Condesce nods after. She offers a smile, but it's hard to tell if it's genuine or not (it's not). ]
