Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 4th.

[She tossed her head, but it isn't either a nod or shake. She's pretty good at figuring out human tools after watching.]

[She whined, her tail flopping. Amaterasu was pleased.]

Did you water everything already? I reckon the plants are going to need it today. [She shaded her eyes from the sun and looked around at the flowerbeds. It wasn't even 9AM yet and the temperature already felt like it was pushing 90. And that thought made her wonder...]

How do you stand having all that fur in this weather anyway?

[Glancing around once, she turns back and nods. Yeah, she got everything covered.]

[Looking over her fur, she just stared at Lily. Her fur rises for a moment and then fell as she sighed. Like that. Heat doesn't phase her.]

Okay, let's put that hose away then. [She held out a hand for it.]

You don't mind the heat? [Oh.] Are you really a sun goddess? That's what Kiriha told me...

[Amaterasu handed over the hose. Pardon the wolf slobber.]

[Her ears stood slightly higher and she nodded.]

[Lily gingerly takes it and pulls out a hand towel from her gardening apron's pocket to wipe it off. It's going to need a wash later...]

But why are you a wolf, then? I asked but she didn't know. [Amaterasu's animal form didn't exactly scream 'sun deity'...]

[Amaterasu tilted her head. Did her form have to make sense? She didn't get it. Either way, the goddess can't answer without some help.]

I guess you can't really tell me if you can't talk, huh?

...Speaking of Kiriha, I don't think I've seen her lately. Not since a while before I disappeared. Have you?

[She was a bit surprised the girl hadn't tried to talk her into sparring again. But then, their trip to Croatia hadn't been ideal and even if they had gotten the monsters in the end, it had taken a relatively long time.]

[Amaterasu shakes her head and sighs, looking down. Kiriha wasn't here anymore.]

Why do you look so glum all of a sudden?

[Her eyes widen as an alarming possible reason for Kiriha's absence occurs to her.]

She didn't get hurt during a mission, did she? Or with those fires?

[She shakes her head. Kiriha? Injured in that? Of course not.]

No? [Lily had found Kiriha a bit reckless so it seemed plausible.]

Then, do you mean she disappeared too because of that cotton-pickin' contraption?

[Now that, Ammy can nod to because it's correct.]

Huh. I wonder if she'll be back.

[In a way, it seemed better that Kiriha was back home. Lily had been a bit worried, considering how young the obi's human form looked. But it would have been interesting to see what other weaves she was capable of.]

[She does the best shrug she can. It's unfortunate, but the girl may not come back. Kiriha would be missed.]

[There was a sigh as she rolled up the garden hose.]

I guess we can't really know with that contraption's whims. That goldurned thing won't stop tossing me back and forth.

Have you been keeping an eye on that bothersome sorcerer too while I was gone? [She hoped Lezard hadn't been causing mischief during her disappearance...]

[Nope. Quite unfortunate...]

[She turned her head towards Lily and nodded. Yup, all under control.]

No trying to set things on fire or scaring folks? Or did he insist on going to fight more demons?

[... There's a face at the mention. It was very close.]

[And Lily makes a face of her own.]

You mean he did want to set things on fire? I'll have to talk to him...

[She gives Amaterasu another pat.]
