Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 4th.

Huh? Oh... [It takes a moment to settle in.] I'm sorry to hear that. [Nanami had only spoken to him a handful of times but he was the one who first showed her how to partially transform.]

[Chika nods.]

Thanks... It figures BREW would do it right when I actually start having more free time to go on missions though.

[She shakes her head suddenly though.]

But well, moping around isn't going to do any good. I doubt he'd want me to do that anyway.

What do you do that keeps you so busy?

[scatterflower]

Work mostly. I'm the manager at Triple A, and until recently we were ridiculously short on staff.

What's Triple A?

[She's pretty bad at keeping up on the network so she might have missed any advertisements]

[Chika giggled. Well, okay, she couldn't expect everyone to know what it was.]

It's the video game arcade.

Oh. [It's another one of those nerds, she seems to run into a lot of those around here. She doesn't want to press the matter of Zero getting sent home (last time she did something like that she got yelled at) but Nanami was genuinely curious about how the other would move on]

What will you do now that he's gone?

[scatterflower]

[Chika shrugs, leaning back a bit on the bench.]

Try to find another partner, I guess. I mean, before him I used to temp partner with people all the time. I can go back to doing that for a while, until I find someone I work with pretty well.

That would probably be for the best. I know Shibusen wants people to stick with one partner but it's a little difficult when BREW keeps sending people back at random.

[scatterflower]

Yeah...

I mean, I know that they can't control BREW, but it makes things way too difficult for us here.

I try not to get too attached to anyone, it makes things easier in the long run.

[Try being the key word here...]

Yeah... If only I could ever manage to do that.

[Not getting close to people was... hard for her. Really, really hard.]

[Closing herself off a little is probably also hindering her ability to resonate really well with her partners.

She's not sure what to say to Chika so she just taps a foot a little while overlooking the training area]

[Chika forces a smile, turning back over to Nanami.]

I guess we should probably get back to training, shouldn't we?

[She kind of sighs a little bit pushing herself up off the bench]

I suppose it wouldn't do to sit on the bench all morning. [She offers a small smile in return]

[scatterflower]

Nope. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of being here.

[morecowbell]

[She gave a sidewards glance as she was mainly here today just to get back into routine after being bedridden for a while.]

Good luck. [she offers] Just don't rebound too quickly.

[scatterflower]

[Chika giggles at that.]

Well, I'll try not to. But things are getting worse. I don't know if I'll have that luxury or not.

[She doesn't really want to think about how bad it was getting, home was starting to look better with each awful event that passed]

You can always try going back with one of your temporary partners.

[scatterflower]

Yeah. But that's assuming that they're still here and haven't partnered up with anyone else yet.

Well who else have you partnered with?

[scatterflower]

Well... there's Aqua. And my brother who's not here anymore. And well... there's also Zidane, but he's not here anymore either.

... I think other than Aqua all the people I've partnered with are gone, but I think there's been more than those three. And I've been able to resonate a lot with people in training.

[She sort of knows Aqua but everything Chika says is overshadowed by the fact that her brother had been here making Nanami feel kind of jealous.]

I wonder what it'd be like to resonate with my brother.

[scatterflower]

... Well, if I didn't have an easy time resonating with anyone, I'd say it was pretty easy. Since as much as I don't like to admit it, we're both kinda similar.

[Though Chika was a ton smarter than Masaru. Masaru was almost a complete moron.]

Did you... ever find out anything about him that you didn't know before by resonating?
